Audio Guide Rental:

Audio guide devices are available at the West Hall Service Desk for RMB40, with a RMB100 deposit. A valid ID is necessary. Damage to an audio guide causes a fee based on the level of damage. Lost devices are subject to payment of the full purchase cost.

Facilities:

Wheelchairs and strollers are available for free use on the day of visit at the Service Desk. A valid ID card and a deposit of RMB500 are required.

Brackenridge Park

The park was first established in 1899 and has been popular with both locals and visitors ever since. Friedrich Wilderness Park

San Antonio Missions National Historical Park

While the Alamo is a separate attraction, you will get to enjoy the architectural wonders of Mission Concepcion, Mission San Jose, Mission San Juan, and Mission Espada. They’re all connected by a hike and bike trail, with plenty of stops along the way to picnic, climb trees, and refill water. Admission is free!

Eisenhower Park

Just a 20-to 30-minute drive from the city center, the park puts the best landscapes in the Texas Hill Country on full display, holding 6 miles of hiking trails, both paved and unpaved. Here’s a surprising fact: The whole of Vatnajökull National Park makes up 14% of Iceland’s territory! Vatnajökull is also where two of Iceland’s most active volcanoes are located.

Edinburgh Science Festival

For two weeks every April, Scotland’s capital city Edinburgh is home to Europe’s biggest science festival. This year’s festival will have a particular focus on life forms, life cycles and how to fight climate change.

Highlights include the City Art Centre, which has been transformed into a five-floor science playground. Meanwhile, over at the National Museum of Scotland, visitors can become an immunologist (免疫学家) for the day and make their own vaccine.
