2 . Walt Disney World Holiday Celebrations in the 4 Parks

Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World’s first parade since March 2020 is hitting Main Street just in time for the holidays. The parade kicks off with Mickey and Minnie in their holiday styles and ends with a visit from Santa Claus. The only way to see this parade is with a ticket. Other celebrations include a special fireworks display, holiday-themed stage performances and dance parties. Guests may even get to experience a little snowfall in Florida.

EPCOT

Have a look at how countries around the world celebrate this time year at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Guests will experience unique performances such as a Chinese Lion Dance celebrating the New Year. They also will enjoy taking part in the Cookie Stroll. Participants get stamps in a special passport when they buy five different holiday-themed cookies. Once they collect all five stamps, they’ll earn a special treat.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Tree of Life Awakenings will take place on select nights when the park is open late. The Tree of Life will display a series of winter tales accompanied by familiar holiday music. Guests also will get to see a Merry Animal Show of winter animals. Reindeer, foxes and polar bears interact with guests, accompanied by musicians as they create a playful atmosphere.

Disney Springs

Each evening, Town Center at Disney Springs will experience snowfall, Florida style. Also enjoy the Christmas Tree Stroll. Don’t forget to bring your Christmas list to Disney Springs. With a huge range of shopping options, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list.

3 . Universal Beijing Resort is a widely expected theme park destination featuring several all-new attractions. To ensure a safe, secure and pleasant environment, please obey the following regulations.

Food Policy

Universal Beijing Resort offers a variety of fresh and delicious food options at restaurants and stands throughout the resort. However, we respect that guests may need to bring some outside food and drinks for self-consumption. The following food and drinks will not be allowed into the Resort (except for medical, infant, or special dietary needs)

·Alcoholic beverages (e.g. beer, spirits, etc.);

·Foods that need to be heated or processed (e.g. instant noodles, cold food, instant hotpot, etc.);

·Food and drinks in glass containers (e.g. soda in glass bottles, etc.).

Security Inspection Process

·All bags, backpacks or packages are requested to be inspected according to applicable laws before guests enter Universal Beijing Resort.

·Bags/containers more than 56cm×36cm×23cm are prohibited.

·Please follow the instructions from Universal Beijing Resort Security Team.

Ticket Policy

There is no admission ticket required for entry to Universal City Walk Beijing, but Universal Studios Beijing is only accessible to guests with admission tickets. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by a guest aged 16 or older.

Disneyland is a theme park in Anaheim, California, the US. More than 515 million guests have traveled to this American landmark from around the world since the park first opened to guests on July 17, 1955. The park consists of many world-famous sections, such as Main Street, Adventure land, New Orleans Square, and so on.

Magic Kingdom, Disney World, Florida

Magic Kingdom is a theme park within the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, near Orlando opened on October 1, 1971. It is the most famous theme park in Florida. The park’s design and attractions don’t make much difference from Disneyland Park in Anaheim.

EPCOT, Disney World, Florida

EPCOT is the second theme park built at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida. The park opened on October 1, 1982, and was named EPCOT Center from 1982 to 1993. It was the largest Disney theme park in the world until 1998, when Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened.

MGM’s streets are the home for some great movie­themed attractions with a history of less than 30 years. With the addition of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Rock and Roller Coaster, the park is now home to Disney World’s most thrilling rides.

Universal Studios, Florida

Go behind the scenes, beyond the screen and jump right into the action of your favorite movies at Universal Studios, the number one movie and TV theme park in the world.

5 . Famous Modern Chinese Buildings

The Beijing International Airport

The first place most visitors see when they arrive in China is the Beijing International Airport.

The airport was constructed in the 1950s. It has an indoor garden, a children’s playground,and over 70 food businesses in Terminal 3 alone.

The Shanghai World Financial Centre

Completed in 2008, SWFC took over 10 years to complete due to shortages of money and the construction delays. Since its completion, it has won countless architectural awards.

Tourists are welcome at SWFC’ s viewing platform, which is the world’s highest closed viewing platform.

The Water Cube

It was constructed for use during the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics. Now visitors can express surprise at the architecture of the building. They can enjoy the indoor atmosphere as well.

Among the offerings of the Water Cube are a restaurant, a bar, a shopping area, and Water World, a family water park.

The Bird’s Nest

It was designed mainly for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It can hold up to 80,000 people. Nowadays, it also functions as a tourist attraction. It makes money from tourism. It draws more than 20,000 tourists every day.

The National Centre for the Performing Arts

It was completed in 2007. The building is surrounded by a man-made lake, requiring guests to enter through an underground hallway. It is home to an opera hall, a music hall, and a theatre.

Cinque Terre, Italy

With cars banned here, you’ll really get to feel the unique history and character of the Cinque Terre’s five centuries-old coastal villages. The breathtaking views of harbors far below the wild coastline along with the rich colors will definitely make it a memorable holiday.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Angkor Wat is the world’s largest religious (宗教的) monument and it contains impressive remains from the Khmer Empire (9th to 15th century). The site has dozens of iconic temples like Ta Prohm (a magnificent temple ruin hidden in the jungle). Hosting more than two million visitors annually, this artistic masterpiece is a must-see site.

Petra, Jordan

Petra’s rock-cut architecture has contributed to its nickname, the Rose City, based on the color of the stone it was carved from. The delicate constructions of temples and tombs along with the remains of churches and temples are only a couple of reasons why this world-famous site is a must-visit destination.

Yellowstone National Park, USA

Yellowstone’s vast wilderness includes mountain ranges, lakes and waterfalls. One of the main reasons for tourists to visit Yellowstone is to observe the amazing wildlife like grizzly bear, bison, bighorn sheep wander the plains and valleys.

7 . Food festivals are a common occurrence in the UK and take place in all sorts of places and at all sorts of times. Whatever your taste, there’s a food festival to match — no matter how specialized.

1. Meatopia

This three-day, London-based festival takes place at the end of August and is a meat lover’s paradise. In addition to a range of legally sourced meat products, from juicy burgers to tender steaks, attendees can listen to live music, watch butchery demonstrations, and attend informal meat-based workshops.

2. The National Honey Show

If you have a sweet tooth, then it could be that the National Honey Show, which started in 1921 and is the largest event of its kind, is the place for you to be. This three-day event attracts many local entries who showcase their sweet golden honey, some of which is sold globally.

3. The Orange Sauce Festival

Have you heard about a festival that is devoted only to orange sauce? Held in Cumbria, this sweet, fragrant festival has been running for 3 years. What attracts people most is a competition to find the best homemade orange sauce. There are thousands of participants from over 30 different countries across the globe, bringing their local snacks to share here.

4. The Ginger and Spice Festival

If you’d prefer something with a little more kick to it, then you could attend The Ginger (姜) and Spice Festival held in Market Drayton. Unlike other food festivals, it celebrates its town’s historic connection to Robert Clive, who returned from India with ginger. Because of this, they specialize in baking gingerbread, but also sell a range of traditional spices from mild to hot.

Shanghai Expo Culture Park

The Shanghai Expo Culture Park will soon open its northern section to the public, in which the major attractions include a traditional garden that is similar in design to Shanghai’s famous Yuyuan Garden and a 400-meter avenue exhibiting the history of the area, while in the southern section lies a grand theater.

Macao Tower AJ Hackett Bungee Jump

The Macao Tower, 338 meters tall, is the world’s 10th highest tower, with a variety of activities, such as eating and entertainment. One of the activities which enjoy good fame is the bungee jump. The AJ Hackett Macao Tower Bungee Jump is 233 meters high, making it a Guinness World Record as the highest commercial (商业的) bungee jump in the world. Raise your arms and off you go!

Harbin’s Frozen World

For those who have never been to Harbin, there is an almost endless list of things to do. At Harbin Ice—Snow World, you can not only see the world—famous ice architecture, but also have great fun!
