5 . There’s a lot to see in Badlands National Park (BADL).

Castle Trail: A Badlands National Park Favorite.

We’re kicking things off with the longest trail in the park — and it is an excellent one. This 5-mile journey takes you through the backcountry of Badlands, with the main destination being the incredible Castle Rock formation. Along the way, you’ll hike through grassland. And as always in the Badlands, watch out for snakes.

See Bison in Sage Creek Wilderness Area

Are you as crazy about wildlife? Sage Creck is for you. Located in Wall, SD, this is one of the largest areas of preserved mixed-grass prairie (草原) left in the United States. And it’s one of the best places for North American bison (野牛). But remember to always stay in your vehicle, and never get out to approach a bison. This is not only illegal (非法的), but can cost you your life.

Ascend the Amazing Saddle Pass Trail

Saddle Pass is a short trail, but one you won’t want to miss. One of the most photographed spots in Badlands National Park is also one of the coolest climbing experiences, hands down. Here, you’ll climb up the Badlands Wall itself into a view of the White River Valley. The trail gets its name from the shape of the prairie you’ll travel.

Badlands National Park’s Top Hike: Notch Trail

As the most popular hike in the Badlands, Notch Trail features a fantastic ladder climb and absolutely breath-taking views. This trail is worth the difficulty, but it is not recommended for anyone with a fear of heights, and can be dangerous during or after heavy rains. The most Badlands injuries take place here, so be sure to practice safely.

She insisted that we should find the source of the river. She gave me a determined look. Once she has made     9     her mind, nothing can change it.     10     (final), I had to give in.

8 . What does Beijing’s Palace Museum look like at night? Many people don’t know the answer to this question, as it closes at around 4:30p.m in winter and 5:00p.m in summer. However, to celebrate the Lantern Festival, Beijing’s Palace Museum opened its door to the public after dark——for two nights only. That’s a first in 94 years!

Although people could get free tickets on the museum’s website, it was difficult to get a ticket. The website even stopped working for a while because too many people visited it at the same time. Zhang Zhifu, a 77-year-old woman, received a ticket from the museum as a gift. “I grew up in Beijing and I visited the Palace Museum every year, but I never got to see it at night, It is truly an honor.” She said.

In the past celebrating the Lantern Festival was a tradition for the imperial(皇帝的)family.“We want to pass the tradition on and give people more festival experience.”Said Shan Jixiong, the head of the Palace Museum. On the night of February19th,2019, about 3,000 visitors spent the Lantern Festival in the Palace Museum.

9 . Travel is fun and exciting, but it’s not if you get sick. You may think, “Not me, I won’t get sick on my vacation.” But for many people, that is what happens.

A vacation is supposed to be a time for relaxing. But very often it is not. “What can I do when I am a tourist?” This is what we should often think about. Usually there are so many places to visit: museums, shops, parks and churches. You may spend most days walking around these places. This can be very tiring. Your feet may hurt. And you may have a terrible headache after a few hours. If this is what you feel, you should take a rest. Don’t ask your body to do too much. A tired body means a weak body. And a weak body can make you get sick easily. Just sit down for a few hours in a nice spot. In good weather, look for a quiet park bench. Or you can rest at a café. You can learn a lot by watching people when you have a rest.

Sleep is also important. If you want to stay healthy you need enough sleep. You may have trouble sleeping at night when you travel. Your hotel room may be noisy, or the bed may be uncomfortable. If that is true, don’t be afraid to change rooms or hotels. You may not get enough sleep for another reason. You may want to stay out late at night. In many cities the night life can be very exciting. Then you should plan to sleep for an hour during the day. That extra hour can make a big difference.

Finally, if you want to stay healthy, you must eat well. That means eating the right kinds of foods. Your body needs fresh fruit and vegetables, and some meat, milk or cheese. When you are in a new country you may want to try new foods but you need to be careful about how much you eat. Lots of rich food is not very good for you.
