Last Saturday, I went to a museum nearby and had a good time here. I got up early in the morning. It was sunny, so I decide to bicycle to make a greener travel. After about an hour’s ride, I finally arrived at entrance. I had my ticket check quickly and walked into the museum, following a group of visitors with a tour guide, which was really knowledgeable. She gave each exhibit to a vivid description. What impressed me most were the development of Chinese characters. This visit not only increased our interest in Chinese history, and broadened my horizons.

During last summer vocation, my parents and I went on a road trip along National Highway 318 (G318), where links Shanghai in the east to Tibet in the west. It is the longest and most attraction national highway in China. I felt real cheerful after we set out. Appreciated many famous scenic spots along the way, we were deeply impressed on the breathtaking scenery from Sichuan to Tibet. Meanwhile, diverse customs and tradition of native peoples enabled us have a deeper insight into our motherland and people. We saw white clouds floating with a super fresh air greatly refreshing our mind, body or spirit. This 10-day journey left us with a vivid memory. What an awesome journey it was one!

I'm preparing for a trip to Rome, Italy, which I'm exciting about. In fact, I don't travel much outside China, or I often travel inside China. Last year, I flew to Beijing to visit my cousin who lives there. The flight was lasted four hours from where I live. In Beijing, we went to Tian'anmen Square watch the raising of the national flag, and climbed the Great Wall. We had great funs. Now, I'm waiting with my suitcases for a taxi to take myself to the airport. It's said that a journey by air will be such long that it will take 20 hours. Think of the wonderful places there, I can't real wait.

My parents and I had a family visit in Xi’an, the old city with a long history in China. We tasted the true home-cooked dishes in the home in which we visited. For in-homing dinner, the host would prepare a list of menus by advance. Our tour guide asked for advices about the food, so the host would try to cook what we choose to eat at his home. We real enjoyed the locally cooked dishes. What’s more, the host taught us what to make dumplings step by step. Though dumplings created with badly dressed appearance, we felt happy to enjoy the fruits of our labor. The family visit in Xi’an was a good chance for them to know Chinese people’s daily lifestyles and it was a lot more excited than we had expected.

Last summer, my family and me spent the whole holiday on an amazed island in Hainan Province. The island is very big and there are lots of things to see and do. We stay in a comfortable hotel and went swimming every day because the beautiful weather. We also tried the local food. There were the number of traditional restaurants on the island, and we ate there every evening! To my surprises, I put on about three kilos during the holiday, when I didn’t really like. We also visited many interesting sights, and like the local museum that I found very impressively. We had a great time there and I’d really love to going there again someday!

My parents and I decided to visit Hong Kong for our holidays in last summer. I was very happy because I looked forward to go there for a long time. My parents and I go on a road trip along G318 in this summer. It is the longest national highway in China from Shanghai to Tibet, along that we enjoyed many famous place of interest. Of all the places, the scenery from Sichuan to Tibet impressed us much. We saw the blue sky but white clouds. With the fresh air refreshed our body and mind, we felt quite relaxed. It was a bright sunny day today. I went to the Bangalore railway station meet my uncle and aunt, that were coming from Mumbai. When my father and I were careful crossing the Orion mall, we saw three elephants, reminding me with my Kerala trip.
Last year we went to Kerala for a trip, where we were visited five beautiful cities. Then seating on an elephant for two and a half hour, we went to Elephant Junction Thekkady. After that, we feed several elephants and took a lot of pictures with it. It was so a nice trip that I will not forget it forever.
