We had a school trip last Sunday. Hundreds of us took part in it excited.
At 8:00 a. m., we set out for the top of Jiuhuang Mountain in highly spirits. All the way we were chatting, singing and laughing, enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful scenery. When someone fall behind, others would come to offer help. About two hour later, we all reached the top. Seeing from there, the river below looked like a thin belt. We were such happy that we jumped and cheered with joy.
The activity benefited us a lot of. Not only did we get close to nature, but also we relaxed us. What wonderful experience!

Here is the result of our discuss about traveling. Some students chose to travel with a group. With a guide help, they won’t get lost and they don’t need to look up hotels by themselves. Besides, they can make friends and help each other while take a trip.
However, other students prefer travel alone. That’s because they can arrange their time free and have a choice to visit their favorite tourist spot. What’s more, it’s a chance for them to learn to look after ourselves.
For me, I’d like to travel alone. I want to spend enough time visiting the place in which I like. In this way, I can enjoy the vacation better.

I wanted to visit Hangzhou before returning back to London. One of my tasks were to decide where to go. I took out my guidebook which there was lots of informations about the city’s famous sights. At that moment, the attractive young lady came up to me and introduced himself. She offered to show me the city. She suggested we first go to the West Lake and walk along the Broken Bridge. I liked the idea. Therefore, I was worried about crossing the Broken Bridge. If it were broken, I would fall in and drown. It was probably not a good idea, so I polite refused her invitation, closing my book and walked away.

With the fast improvement of people’s life, tourism was becoming more and more popular now. It speeds up the develop of our country. For example, more and more hotels, restaurants and shopping centers have been appeared. With the arrival of visitors, more jobs are created for local people, that will improve their living standards in a long run. We can make more money by selling items with local features or provide visitors with their houses. However, there are still much problems such as dirty environment, forced shopping and things of bad quality but high prices. There are two thousand people living here, but very little shops or restaurants, so people have to go to the mall in the city. Why does travelers come from all over the country to visit our town then? Some of the scenery in this area ranks among best in the country. It is a place where you can see many tall maple trees, that wide roads run alongside farms, and where a big river flows with countless ducks on it. With such many beautiful things to see, my hometown appeals to many professional photographers.

My family took an amazed trip to the northwest last summer. At the first ,we flew to Lanzhou but then visited the famous Iron Bridge there.We also tasted Lanzhou beef noodles, which were the most delicious noodles I had never had. Two days late， we went to the Mogao caves on the Silk Road. That impressed me most was the fantastic wall paintings. Finally，we reach our final destination，the Qinghai Lake，surrounded by mountains. The scenery was unbelievable beautiful. We found volunteers collecting rubbishes along the bank and we joined them too. Only then I realize we could make a difference to our environment.

I just come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb.16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District. I learned much about British culture and history in London, where was my favorite.
I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much old buildings. The Lake District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited thing for me in the Britain was that I made a lot of friends.

I went to the seaside to spending my summer holiday with my family. We stayed there for about two week. The weather was much hotter than in my hometown, but I got used to it or felt at home. Every morning, I got up early than my parents and went for breakfast ahead of the time. Then I went to have a chat with my new friend, John, whom I happen to come across during my holiday. John was a native and quite warm-heartedly and he was familiar to the seaside. Soon we became very good friends. After we parted, we have kept write to each other.

My father and I stayed at the South Lake Hotel for a week when we visit Beijing last month. It is in the downtown area, but it is easy to go to anywhere from the hotel by public transport. We lived in a comfortable double-room with a big bath. What I like best were the free high-speed Internet connection in the room. I checked my email messages every day. I also shared for my friends many photos taking in Beijing. The food was wonderful with reasonable prices and we enjoyed several local dish. It is such great hotel that I would recommend it to any friend of me who is going to Beijing.

Last summer, to my delight, I got a chance to go to the United Kingdom. I was eager to see how England was like. Although my parents objected to my decision at first, but finally they were persuaded. It was the first time that I have travelled abroad alone. Felt excited, I boarded the plane. Suddenly, however, I found my luggages gone and felt helplessly. It was on that moment that the airhostess came to my assistance. After helping me find it back, she suggested that I attached a label to my suitcase on my next journey. I was thankful to the kind lady for his help! What unforgettable trip!
