Yesterday I met a young student, that came from the USA, in the Palace Museum. It was first time that I had met a foreigner, so I went to greet him with English. He told me that he was a college student traveling in China and he likes China very much. I offered to show him around to the museum. He was impressing by the Chinese culture and busy taking photo all the time. He said he hadn’t seen such beauty buildings before. After that, we went boating and had a good time together. I was very glad to having the chance to share our culture with a foreigner and practice his spoken English as well.

I am fond the summer holiday. Last summer, I go to Hawaii for my holiday. I often had a walk along the beach after the supper or had a swim in the afternoon. When I am ten years old, I went to Dali with two Americans. I became their guide. First, we went to the Erhai Lake. They wanted to look around the lake by the boat. After buy the tickets, we got into a boat. We went around, seeing the beautiful sight. After that, we went shopping. The sellers couldn’t spoke English. Though it was very hardly, I tried my best listen to their words carefully and translate the sentences. They bought some little things with their help. Next, we went to a small zoo but took some pictures. When we felt hunger, we went out and had lunch. After lunch, we visited some old house and learned more about Chinese history.

Recently, a famous star has caused public angry by writing on the Great Wall. In the fact, this happens in many place of interest. I have much suggestions to solve this problem.
First, make more posters inform the public the damage of graffiti(涂鸦). Besides, punishments, such as a fine, is necessary to tourists with so bad behavior. Also, I think it’s helpfully to put up some boards along the tourist attractions that tourists can leave messages. I’m sure with our efforts, more and more people will become concerning about protecting cultural relics.

Last year I attend a study tour in Scotland. The family who I was staying with was so friend. One day they took me to place that is called Loch Ness. I learned that "loch" is a Scottish word that mean "lake". There are stories for a Loch Ness monster(怪物), called Nessie. A famous photo of Nessie which was taking in 1934 kept the story alive. I like travelling and my dream of visit Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during National Day this year. In October 1st, I went to Tian’anmen Square with my parents, which we watched the flag-raising ceremony. As I watched flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feeling extremely exciting. Then we went to some other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. Standing on the Great Wall, I felt very proudly. I thought of the old saying that “One who fail to reach the Great Wall is not a hero.” Although I was tired, but I really had a good time.

My family were travelling back to Yibin from Chengdu then it started to snow. At first, I thought it is fun and everything looked beautifully. I was looking forward to make a snowman on the playground at my school the next day, and suddenly the car drove off road and into a channel. My father called the rescue team, but they said it would be a long time after they could reach us. But we sang songs and told stories to pass the time. Several hour later, the rescue team pulled their car out of the channel. At last, we managed to drive very slowly to home. I would never forget this experience.

In May, I went in holiday to Paris with my friend Lily. We had a great time here, In the first few day, we spent a lot time visiting tourist sites. We saw many beautiful places like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame or other places of interest. I took hundreds of photos. One day we got lost on their way back to a hotel.
