I recently visited Beijing with my parents and younger brother. We had     1     wonderful time on the two-day tour we arranged through the Beijing Forbidden City travel agency.

On the morning of July 11^th, the day after we arrived in Beijing, our guide Miss Wu took us to visit the Ming Tombs. We spent about an hour     2     (look) around the tombs. Then we visited a factory producing     3     (tradition) cloth shoes. They were really beautiful, and it was fun to see how the products     4    (make). My mother even bought two pairs of cloth shoes. After leaving the factory, we were taken to a restaurant     5     served delicious Beijing roast duck. After lunch, we headed to Badaling Great Wall. We took a car up the hill and got onto the wall at the top. The walking on Badaling Great Wall took     6     (we) two hours. The views from the wall were just     7     (amaze). That hike was a bit tiring,     8     it was my favorite part of the tour.

The next morning, we went to see the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube, the main Olympic stadiums which was built     9     the 2008 Olympic Games. In the afternoon, we were taken to see the Forbidden City, which was one of the most famous     10     (attraction). It was huge, so we spent the whole afternoon there.

Mount Tai has been a source of     1     (inspire) for poets and thinkers for thousands of years. Many people like climbing to the top of Mount Tai, no matter    2     challenging the journey is. Confucius once     3     (reach) its top and said there: “Climb Mount Tai and the whole world looks small.” His words express the idea that the higher you climb, the     4     (great) your vision (视野) is. For me, the higher I climbed, the more steps I saw, until finally I got to the steps that led up to the cable car (缆车) station. Of course, Confucius didn’t take a cable car, but I wasn’t Confucius. I spent two hours climbing steps, and that was enough for me.

We got up at 4 a.m. to position     5     (we) for the sunrise. We were lucky enough    6    (enjoy) a clear sunrise among hundreds of others. After breakfast, we walked for about five hours down the mountain and through Peach Blossom Valley,     7     beautiful walk through pine trees, flowering peach trees,waterfalls and     8     (pool) of water. The green plants up the mountain contribute     9     a unique climb. This valley walk was wonderful for me, not just because there were no steps up. It was peaceful,     10     (allow) me to admire the greater scenery I got.

Dubai was a 6,000-person fishing village half a century ago. Since 1966, when oil was discovered there, the population of Dubai has grown    1    2.6 million. Over the years, it has become a well-known tourist destination.

What attracts tourists to Dubai are tax-free shopping, dry weather, excellent    2     (accommodate), delicious food and beaches that go on for miles. In fact, some people come here only     3     (experience) the shopping. There are lots of shopping centers,     4     (provide) every famous brand you can name. Those outdoor markets sell everything from spices to gold at fair prices.

Choosing what places to visit in Dubai is difficult, because even the hotels there are also amazing    5     (attract). The Burj A1 Arab is considered one of the world’s best hotels,     6     is located on its own island, about 1,000 feet offshore from Dubai. Built in the shape of    7     ship, this hotel is still     8     (tall) than the Eiffel Tower and nearly as tall as the Empire State Building. Certainly, there are also other great places of interest to visit.

Indeed, traveling around this country will    9     (true) give you an amazing experience because of its interesting things offered to all types    10    tourists.

If you don’t come to Xinjing, you won’t know how big China is. And if you don’t come to Xinjiang, you won’t know how    1    (beauty) Nalati is. According to the local people, Nalati means the     2    (one) place to see the sun. Nalati is known as the “Entrance to Heaven on Earth”.

The wide grasslands, blue lakes and wonderful flower fields attract millions of     3    (visit) from home and abroad every year. You can see groups of cows and sheep everywhere. You can also see horses with people on    4    (they) backs running across the field. People on the horseback can enjoy the amazing view of the grassland at the same time. Voyo, a l9-year-old American girl, loves Chinese culture and is studying in Xinjiang University. She told the reporter “During my stay, I was shocked by the    9    (develop) of Xinjiang. The Chinese government     10    (make) great effort in supporting the local industries these years.”

China has countless     1     (attract). The Great Wall is probably one that is most familiar to the Western tourists. The Great Wall is like a giant stone dragon,     2     (run) across the country from the ocean on the east     3     the desert on the west. It is the longest wall that     4     (build) ever, 1,500 miles in length. Along the wall    5     (be) watch towers, where soldiers were on the watch for threats. Bali is a beautiful island of Indonesia. Nowadays, it is becoming a destination that is popular    1     Chinese tourists.

There are some unique creatures     4     (see) nowhere else other than in Bali.
