After    1    , we took a long journey to the west of China. It was our first time living    2    away from home. We were eager to enjoy the typical scenery of the desert. From the moment we arrived, it didn’t disappoint us. But the journey was quite challenging. We didn’t have enough    3    of food and water. One time we even got a flat tire on our car. You cannot imagine what a    4    time we had in the hot burning sun;    5    , with the help of some volunteers, we finally changed the tire. We were inspired by this marvelous journey, and we are organizing another adventure.

In the morning, she walked around the Mission District, where she looked at the street art and ate some delicious Mexican Chinese noodles. I have a good friend named Pearl, whose grandmother lives in a     1     town called Jieshi in Lufeng. Last weekend I jumped at a(n)     2     to explore the     3     of the seaside town together with Pearl. A bicycle is often more convenient than motor     4     in a town, so we rented a bike through a smartphone app, and right away     5     the beach. Li Daiyu and Liu Qian decided to travel across the whole Canada to visit their cousins by rail, which excited them a lot. Before starting out, they stayed in Vancouver to enjoy the views. Despite the rainy season, they took a boat ride into the bay, had a     1    view of the city on the mountains and took a     2    hike in a forest. It took them a     3    of four days to travel from Vancouver to Toronto.

Firstly, the girls headed for Lake Louise. Along the way, while they were impressed with the     4    mountains and forests, the blue lake water was breathtaking.

One     5    of their awesome journey was seeing a variety of creatures. On the way to Toronto, they passed Edmonton, the centre of Canada’s heavy industry and a shopping paradise as well.

Jinan, a    1    city which is located on the southern land of Jishui,     2    Shandong Province as its capital city. Thanks to the hard work of ancestors, Jinan has prosperous cultural    3    . With Mount Tai and the hometown of Confucius nearby, it has many cultural    4    as well as historical sites, which have attracted many    5    and celebrities. Lastly, Jinan is known as Spring City because there are lots of springs in the city.

At the edge of the     1     universe, there is a treasure near the     2     which connects the Arctic Circle to the Europe, whose name is Sarek National Park. It is a(an)     3     world that nobody can figure out whether it is morning or night. At the far side of the valley, a(an)     4     Sami cottage is visible. How     5     the scenery is!
