Dear George,
It’s great to hear from you. Thanks for the birthday card!
You asked if I have been thinking a lot about the future now that I’m 17. The answer is yes! Things change so quickly, don’t they? I mean, in just a year’s time, I 1 (be) an adult. And this time next year, I 2 (take) my final school exams. Hopefully I 3 (pass) them! Then, in a couple of years’ time, I 4 (study) at university. It seems like no time at all! I 5 (choose) law, I think. After graduation, I 6 (look) for a job related to law. In the long term, I hope that 20 years from today, I 7 (work) as a judge. Let’s see how things go.
What are you hoping to do in the future? Tell me about your plans.
Kind regards,
Diana
