A male elephant that broke away from the wandering elephant pack     1    (send) back to its forest home on Wednesday in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture(西双版纳傣族自治州), southwest China’s Yunnan Province, local authorities said.

Yuxi City headquarters in charge of monitoring the pack’s migration(迁徙)took the     2    (decide) early Wednesday morning     3    (prevent) the lone animal from entering heavily populated areas. Therapy dogs are dogs that are trained to give comfort to people in unfortunate situations. The story of the first therapy dog is     1     (extreme) interesting. An ocean park in Qingdao, Shandong Province, announced on Wednesday that it had artificially bred (繁殖) seven loggerhead sea turtles. The seven young turtles, each    1     (weigh) around 25 grams, were bred at Qingdao Haichang Polar Ocean Park. The successful reproduction represents a breakthrough in the park's breeding of marine animals.

The loggerhead is a species of    2    (ocean) turtles. Nine distinct population    3     (branch) were covered by the Endangered Species Act of 1973 in the United States. Authorities from China said it was the first time in China that loggerhead sea turtles    4     (be) artificially bred. As a nature photographer, my favorite place to take photos is Yellowstone National Park, which is famous for the     1     （various）of its wildlife but it is     2     （probable）best known     3     its bears. Last spring in Yellowstone, I followed a path     4     took me through a dark forest. When I finally     5     （step）out of the trees, the view was breathtaking.     6     eagle flew over the snow-capped mountains, which were reflected in the still lake below. While I was concentrating on     7     （photograph）this amazing scene, I suddenly had a feeling that I was being watched. Slowly and with the camera still held to my eye. I turned and froze. Only     8     （meter）away from me was a bear. Time stood still as the bear and I both waited to see who would move first. My legs started shaking. Somehow I forced my finger     9     （press）the button. A second     10     （late）, the bear turned and ran back into the forests.
