Meanwhile, factories give off large amounts of carbon dioxide what has a great influence on an increase of temperature of the earth.

When it comes to the ocean, its pollution is becoming more and more seriously. World Ocean Day, falling on June 8th, is aiming at raising awareness of ocean conservation. The ocean plays the key role in our world. Not only does the ocean offer me sufficient food, but also it maintains the balance of nature. Thus, it is vital to protect the ocean. First of all, that we can do is to place importance on our daily actions. For example, garbage can’t be thrown into the ocean. What’s more, we can also hand out leaflets to call more people to protect the ocean. The more people are involved, the good the ocean environment will become. In addition to, oil tankers (油轮) must spare no effort to avoid oil spills.
All in all, it is high time that we devote ourselves to protecting the ocean. To protect the ocean are to protect ourselves for sure.

Our over-use of electricity is a big problem. It contributed to global warming，what is something that we really should be worried about. It is harming our environment and we need to do what we can stop it. Not only that, but as if we continue to use a same large amount of energy we will soon run out of it. How would we survive in a world with electricity？I think we should start preparing for it now. Cut back on our use of electricity would save energy resources effective so that they could last for longer. I know for sure that I can cut down our use in electricity. And if everyone do his or her best, we can make a big difference.

My uncle set up a small business in our city four years ago. He is known as using iron from old cars to make beautifully art pieces. Last summer vacation, I visit him and he showed to me many of his works. Some are larger pieces looked like animals and humans, and others are smaller pieces you can put at home. He often encourages me to be creative like himself. The art tells people the important of environmental protection. What’s more, it shows that even irons can be brought back to life with little creativity.

The other day, some of my classmates and I took a bicycle trip along the “Renmin Road”, where was specially built for people to relax ourselves. The scenery along the road was fascinating, with trees, flowers, hills and lakes on both side. We stopped by a lake for a rest, where a good many of people were playing happily. But something unpleasant catch our attention, There was rubbish here or there, and there were many plastic bags and bottles floated on the surface of the lake. Such beautiful place was so serious polluted. What a shame! In the end, we couldn’t help collecting the rubbish after we left.
