I enjoy learn English and can remember words easily. However, when it come to reading comprehension, it’s really a challenge. In order improve my reading I tried to read a storybook written in English on last Sunday. At first, I refer to the dictionary every time I came across a new word, which I found not very helpful. I often felt puzzling about what I had read. Then I tried to finish a chapter completely without looking up the new words. How surprised me was that I could understand the story well. I’m satisfied that now I have a good way to learn English than before. I hope I will make great progresses in English in a way.

How is everything going? I’d like to invite you a music festival to be held the next Sunday morning in our school hall.
The music festival would last four hours in total. It will have many excellent performances, including some traditional music pieces playing with Chinese instruments, like pipa, guzheng or erhu. In addition, some traditional Chinese dances will be performed by student. What’s more important is that some famous Chinese musicians will show off to perform. With the weather getting warm, last week our school’s annual sports meeting was held on as scheduled. The opening ceremony, in it each class performed a marvelous march, was splendid. During the competitions, players on behalf of their classes spared no effort to reaching their maximum ability. I took part in the 800-meters race. I had worked out regular and made full preparations after the sports meeting. Determining and confident, I won first prize and bring honour to my class. Qingming Festival is one of most important traditional festivals in China. It falls on April 4th or 5th, where most Chinese people enjoy a public holiday. In the past summer holiday, my parents took my little sister and me Leshan, Sichuan Province, which is noting for the Giant Stone Buddha. The Buddha is really big. Looked up at the large head and down at the large feet, I feel I was so small before the exceptional work. The next day, we climbed Mount Emei, on what beautiful scenery took our breath away. There are many old temples and wild monkey. At dusk, we made their way home. Although we were worn out, but our trip was really a impressive one.
