During my childhood, my family didn’t have a lot of money, so we had to be creative when it came to be entertainment. One of our favorite thing to do on weekends were to go to the park and have a picnic. My mom would pack sandwiches, fruit, and cookies, and they would bring a frisbee and a soccer ball play with. We would spend hours running around but having fun. It didn’t matter which we didn’t have expensively toys. We were happy just spending time together in the fresh air. Looked back, I know those simple picnics are some of my fonder memories in my childhood.

The person I would like to interview him is Yang Liwei. I would really like to interview him because he is not only one of the greatest astronaut in the world but also the first Chinese go to space. I have long been interesting in space exploration. And I believe I could learn a greatly deal from him about it. If I could interview him, I would ask him that made him become an astronaut or how he was trained. I would also like to know how he feel in space and whether space travel is as exciting as what is describing in some books. Finally, I would like to ask a few questions about their personal life, which must be very different.

The school days are the best days of my life. I clear remember my first day at school. I can still feel how warmly I was welcomed at the school. I remember the wish from my teachers. That is because I always regard my primary school life memories for the treasure for my life. I have the best friends today and the learning experience getting from my high school. At high school, I make a lot of mistakes, and thanks to my friends and teachers I was always rescued. My school life memories make myself realize how important school life is. Without them, many things would have missed.

This Friday is the traditional Dragon Boat Festival, also knowing as Duanwu Festival. One of the major custom is to make and eat rice dumplings. It’s obviously that most people don’t make rice dumplings at the present. They can buy it at the supermarket or online. However, it’s still considering one of the most important elements celebrate the festival. It’s not easy to make rice dumplings by hand, that takes too much time. And it is fun and brings family members together. So let’s made our own rice dumplings to keep the tradition alive.

Last weekend, my friends and I decided to go to skiing together. As we arrived, we could see the slopes cover in a blanket of white, which waited for us to overcoming them. We eager rented our skis and snowboards and made our way to the beginner’s slope. Some of us were experiencing skiers, when others were trying it for the first time. We encouraged each other but shared tips on how to manage the slopes. As we slid down hill, a sense of joy filled the air. We challenged us to tackle more challenging runs. Skiing together not only allowed us to enjoy the thrill of the sport but strengthen our friendship.

This year I enter the Great Gorilla Run in London. This is a programme run by The Gorilla Organization to raise money save the world’s last remaining gorillas from die out. Each runner received the gorilla suit and off we went! It was a bit hot and sweat inside the suit, and my legs ached, and it was interesting. The funniest moment was that someone watching the race offered I a banana — a real treat for a running gorilla! I had a great day out of in London, as well as helping to save gorilla!

To inspire us students to take exercise outdoor and build all of us up, so our school organized a sports meeting. Hundreds of students took active part. The meeting included various events designing for all students. Among them the 4×100m relay made the strongest impression for us. With great cheers, the athlete set out for the finishing line in high spirits. All the players presented our best performance during these events. Everyone felt happy with that they had gained from the activity. It not only teaches us the meaning of unity and let us true enjoy a colorful school life, but also promoted our friendship.

In order to carry forward the Lei Feng spirit, a series of activities was held by our School Student Union with a 60^th “Lei Feng Day” approaching. Our school held a flag-raising ceremony theme “Learn from Comrade Lei Feng” on Monday. Our headmaster appealed to us students strong to learn from Lei Feng, which devoted his spare time to helping the needy. After that, the song called on people to learn from Lei Feng was sung by every class. Every students did a good deed. Some did some cleaning in the park. Other went to the nursing home to take part social activities. After sixty years later, the Lei Feng spirit is still alive, inspiring a new generation of Chinese people.

The other day, I discover I couldn't move my right arm and fingers after sleeping through a flight. Having diagnosed me with neural injury, the doctor suggested I could try acupuncture(针灸). So I followed his advices and began my treatment. Dozens tiny needles were inserted across my arm and fingers. I dared not move, because even a small change of position could cause a acute pain. Two weeks went by since I could eat a meal with chopsticks and it took a month for my arm and fingers to return back to their normal functions. I was very amazing at how magic these needles were. That I had always considered old-fashioned and useless turned out to be of great use. I hope acupuncture, with its help I recovered, will continue to bring health to other people.
