Lei Feng was born in a very poor family, Changsha, Hunan in 1940. When he was a little boy, he became an orphan(孤儿). Environmental conservation has become one of the most important issues in our life.There are many methods about it.

First of all, forest conservation. Afforestation (造林) is the key environmental conservation as trees     1     (起最重要的作用) in maintaining the ecological balance. We should aim to plant more trees as well as save the existing ones from     2     (砍倒).

In addition, waste management. The improper disposal of waste can lead to various diseases as well as soil pollution. So, we can apply techniques like the 3R’s, i.e.     3     (降低、再利用、再循环), dry and wet waste sorting, amongst others.
