While it is impossible to live completely free of stress, it is possible to prevent stress as well as reduce its effect when it can’t be avoided. Here are some useful ways to deal with stress.

Do some exercise

Try some exercise or physical activities when you often feel stressed. Running, walking, playing tennis, and working in your garden are just some of the activities you might try.

    1

You should make every effort to eat well and get enough rest. If you easily get angry and can’t sleep well enough, or if you’re not eating properly, it will be more likely that you will fall into stressful situations. If stress repeatedly keeps you from sleeping, you should see a doctor.

    2

Schedule time for both work and entertainment. Don’t forget that play can be just as important to your happiness as work. You need a break from your daily routine to just relax and have fun. Go window-shopping or work on a hobby. Give yourself some time to do what you want to do.

    3

Stress can result from disorganization and a feeling that “there’s so much to do, and not enough time“. Focusing on many things at a time may make you achieve nothing. Instead, make a list of everything you have to do, then do one thing at a time, checking off each task as it is completed. Set out to do the most important task first.

A. Look after yourself well
B. Sleep as much as you can
C. Spare time for yourself
D. Make a list of things to do

How to Concentrate on Studies

How to get your mind to concentrate on studies when there are all possible distractions (分心的事)? This is the biggest question that students face when it’s exam time. Well, here are some tips that can help you with concentration.

    1

It is always best to have a plan before studying. However, be realistic with your timetable and do not expect too much out of yourself.

    2

If you study the same subject for 5 hours without rest, you maybe get bored. So it is advised that you keep on changing your subjects so that you do not get bored. However, make sure you study at least 2 hours at each subject at a stretch(连续地).

Take interest

Unless you like what you are doing, it is not possible to focus on that task. So you have to take interest in what you are studying. You can start with your favorite subject and move on to difficult ones, once you begin to study. You can also take the difficult subject when your mind is most refreshed.

Set up a study area

It is better to have a study room where you can concentrate properly without any distractions. If that is not possible, you can set up a study table in a separate corner in your home. Make sure you study at this place so that you can help your mind focus.

    3

Your mind will be at its sharpest only if you let it rest for enough time. Sleep for at least 6~8 hours depending upon your individual requirements. Eat healthy meals and reward yourself some free time after studies.

A. Introduce variety
B. Get rid of distractions
C. Get enough rest
D. Plan your timetable

Social media is so common in our society that almost everyone is connected to some form of it, whether it is Twitter, Facebook or even Instagram. We are in a fast-paced, technology-developing society and we are addicted to social media. In fact, we are looking forward to social media.

So how does one ensure a positive online reputation (声誉)? It's simple:

13.    1     Party photos with alcohol are not acceptable completely. Would you want to have your boss see these photos? Make sure to post something that you feel positive about you, your creativity and your skills.

15.    3     Find your brand, or what you want people to think of you. Proper spelling and grammar is always a plus, but it may not be your brand. Think about what you want people to think of you and go with it.

Follow these simple rules and you're on your way to building, or restoring(恢复) an online reputation.

A.Ensure you're professional.
B.Don't trust privacy settings.
C.Know your post is written personally.
D.Be entirely sure about what you're posting.
