Last week, my parents and I attended to a big get-together in a restaurant. The people present were all our old neighbors, that used to live in the same neighborhood. Last year the city government decided that the old neighborhood needed to be rebuilding. Therefore, although we had got along well with each other, we got separated, moving to different new place. After that* we missed each other very much that finally we determine to have a gathering. At the get-together, we really had good time，talked about pur own new and beautiful neighborhoods. Everyone has a dream. We are on the way to achieve it whether the way is smooth or toughly. As Senior 3 student, I have the same dream as my classmates that I can be admitted to an ideal university. In the past three years, I have done everything I can to equip myself with that I have learnt from my teachers. Not only have I enjoyed the pleasure of study but also I have got closer to my dream. Anxious and pressure did discourage from me at times. Besides, with the encouragement of my teachers and classmates, I think I’ll make it.

Last Monday, it hit me that my beloved grandmother birthday was around the corner. I decided to make her an unique present. Without the slightest hesitation, I threw me into creating this priceless album. I turned on the computer, carefully selected some photos, added up some decorations, and designed each pages carefully. Eventually, an album of love born. Looked at my work with satisfaction, I couldn’t help imagining how delightedly my grandma would be.
Soon, the big day arrived. At the birthday party, I presented the album to Grandma. The moment she saw the special gift, she hugs me affectionately, tears rolling in her eyes, what made my parents smile genuinely as well.

When I was eight, my father bought me the new bike for my birthday. My brother offered to teach me how to ride. At first, they rode and let me watching. Then he explained me the skills of controlling the bike. Still puzzling, I got on the bike, but it doesn’t move as expected. I lost my balance and fall off the bike. At once I burst into tear because I saw blood on the ground. While I stood up, my left leg hurt bad. Later, I learned to ride a bike. But this experience told me that though some lessons were painful to learn them, yet we could benefit a lot.

China and Western country may have different cultural beliefs about certain animals. But when it comes to pigs, we somehow reach an agreement that pigs are lazy, ugly, stupidly and shameless. Neither of these words describing pigs are exactly positive. Moreover, the truth is what pigs have some good qualities. And there’s probably no good time to clear their names than now, with the arrival of the Year of the Pig on Chinese Spring Festival, which fell February 5 this year. According to a paper publishing in 2017, pigs can tell between those who treat them well or those who don’t. Perhaps these are the qualities of pigs to keep it in mind—their intelligence, cuteness and patience.
