During my last winter holiday, I went to countryside with my father to visit my grandparents. I find a big change there. The first time I went there, they were living in a small house with dogs, ducks, and another animals. Last winter when I went here again, they had a big separate house to raise dozens of chicken. They also had a small pond which they raised fish. My grandpa said last summer they earned quite a lot by sell the fish. I felt happily that their life had improved. At the end of our trip, I told my father that I planned to return for every two years, but he agreed.
3 . Billionaire Bill Gates has offered the many thousands of graduates some career and life advice. Over a series of 14 tweets in his Tweeter posted last Monday, the world’s richest man used the words “impact”, “happiness” and “progress”. He did not mention money. Instead, he told the graduates what jobs he would be looking for if he started out today.
“AI (artificial intelligence), energy and bio-sciences are promising fields where you can make a huge influence”, he wrote. Earlier this year, Gates---who famously dropped out of Harvard to found Microsoft---said that artificial intelligence had “ phenomenal” potential, and “anything connected with that would be an exciting lifetime career.” In the same speech at Columbia University, he said there is a huge growing demand in the energy field to develop reliable, cheap and clean energy.
As well as urging new graduates to surround themselves with people who challenge you, teach you, and push you to be your best self, Gates reminded them to think of others, especially the less fortunate.
He wrote that it had taken him decades to learn about the world’s worst unfairness and described this lack of early understanding as his one big regret. “You know more than I did when I was your age,” he wrote, “ You can start fighting unfairness, whether down the street or around the world sooner.”
He finished by asking graduates to consider the progress human has already made, saying that he believe the world is getting better. “ That matters because if you think the world is getting better, you want to spread the progress to more people and places.”

Today is Tom’s 70th birthday, but there is anybody with him. He feels very disappointing. His sons didn’t care for him on this special day. Although the cakes are very delicious, but he doesn’t want to touch it. He just wants his children come and see him. Nowadays, many young people are so busy and independent which they seldom visit their parents. But blood is thick than water. Our dear parents brought us up for a lot of difficulty. Thus, we should and must bring happy to them when they become old.

Apart from my mother, I’ve been very lucky to having had two teachers who have been fundamental influences in my life. The first was my first piano teacher. She really got me interesting in the piano and made a huge impression in me at a very early age. She helped me to learn the basic techniques and develop understanding of the instrument. Then, when I was 16, I start studying with my second inspirational teachers. He made me much more confident and encouraged me to enter for competitions even when I felt certain and unconfident about doing this. He had enormous faith in us, and it was this, more than anything else, which inspired me to make music my career.
More than her words, it was her face that pierced (刺穿) my heart ---I could see how crestfallen she was.
“It’s only for two nights, “I explained.
But that didn’t matter to her. It was just one more trip after barely being home for five days. I decided in that moment to travel less whenever possible and I managed to avoid flying altogether for most of the summer. As a result, it was a summer full of discoveries. I realized that my kids really were proud of me. In their time away from me they had learned lessons I couldn’t have imagined.
Recently I began traveling a lot again. But this time it was different, mainly due to the fact that I had seen firsthand that my children value strong female role models. They realize that hard work pays off. Being away from them even for a day at a time in many ways had done them a lot of good.
In particular, being a working mom is teaching my daughter how important it is to be independent and that you can follow your dreams. In many ways, her idea of a professional woman is much more realistic than what I imagined when I was her age. I think that even at nine years old she already knows that for all the success you might achieve, there is a price to pay, whether it’s long hours, spending time away from those you love, or simply not having the energy to have fun at times. I know the wishes I would devote all of my time to her, but honestly, even if I didn’t work I would rather she learned not to depend on me for everything, She needs to realize that she can fly on her own --- and that isn’t possible if I am hovering over her every single second of the day .
I have also realized that having a career sets a good example for my son. He is not afraid of a strong woman, and has a great respect for them. When he’s older, this will help him build healthier relationship.
Therefore, for all the working moms out there who work long hours, remember to value the positive lessons you might be teaching your kids.

Yesterday is my mother's birthday. My father and I planned to give him a surprise. In the morning, like usual, my father and mother went to work but I went to school at eight o'clock. My mother seemed to have forgotten her birthday. At four o'clock in the afternoon my father bought a bunch of flowers as well a lot of delicious food my mother likes to eat. I bought my mother a large and beautiful birthday cake. When my mother got to home, she was greatly surprised by that she saw. All that we had done made her very happily. After supper, I asked my mother to sit up and watch TV. My father began to clean the floor and I set out to doing the washing-up.

Gradually, you began spending more time at work and on your career, and more time searching for a human mate. Eventually, you fell in love. She, now your wife, is not a dog person, but I still welcomed her into our home. I was happy because you were happy.
