Television plays important role in our daily life. It presents a vivid world to us. People can enjoy whatever programs they liked at home. Television keeps us informing about current events, and allows us to keep up with the latest developments in science and politics. It is undoubted a great comfort to lonely old people.
However, television also can be harmful. First, some people complain television causes people to have little contact with their family member than before. Second, some programs are full of violence and crime, that have a bad effect on children.
In my opinion, the television itself is neither good nor bad. Whether it is good or bad depend on how people use them. People should choose to watch useful programs that can benefit from them in life.
In recently years, many young people prefer to go shopping on the Internet. People have different opinion about online shopping. Some think online shopping was more convenient and the goods are cheap. However, others believe it is unsafe to buy goods by credit card. And that is impossible to check the quality of the goods. As far as I am concerned, go shopping in a store is a better way. It is a fun to walk around stores and look different goods on sale. We can choose that we need. Beside, we can chat with the shop assistant and know a lot of useful information.
When I was in high school, most of my friends had bicycle. I hoped I could also have it. One day I saw a second-hand bicycle, that was only one hundred yuan. I asked my father the money, and he said he could only give me half of the money. I should earn the other half by myself. So I went to sell newspapers after the school. My father was pleasing when I showed him the money a month late. He gave me the other fifty. You can imagine how happily I felt when I ride to school on my own bicycle.

This morning I go to the shop to change the coat I bought yesterday. But the salesgirl treated me very cold.
