When I was in high school, most of my friends had bicycle. I hoped I could also have it. One day I saw a second-hand bicycle, that was only one hundred yuan. I asked my father the money, and he said he could only give me half of the money. I should earn the other half by myself. So I went to sell newspapers after the school. My father was pleasing when I showed him the money a month late. He gave me the other fifty. You can imagine how happily I felt when I ride to school on my own bicycle.

Dear Allen,
I am so delight to know that you want to buy some gifts with Chinese characteristics. I think a Chinese brush will be a good choice.
The Chinese brush is traditional writing and drawing tool, dated back to more than 2,000 years ago. It was one of China’s Four Treasures of the Study, that is made of hairs of animals and bamboo. Writing with a Chinese brush is a little bit of hard, and it is beneficial to shape one’s mind.
In my opinions, the Chinese brush is a perfect gift for my relatives. Hope my recommendation will be helpfully. Wish you a nice journey!
Yours,
Li Hua

My mother was driving me to school while we saw a cyclist fall over his bike onto the side of the road ahead. Without the second thought we pulled over and got out. He said he was OK but I could see his face bleed, so I returned to our car, taking out a case of first-aid supply like bandages. Cars were going by but we were safely on the side of the road and manage to tend to the injuries. Thankfully his head wasn’t hurt seriously. I was glad we happened have all those supplies in our car. Though we have never used them before, but we must prepare them in case anything like that happens again.
