The fastest train in the world, the Transrapid Maglev, run between Shanghai’s Pudong Airport or Longyang Station in downtown Shanghai. Travelling at a speed of over 400 kilometre per hour, the train can complete the 30-kilometre journey for eight minutes. Maglev means “magnetically levitated”.
