Three friends and I was driving on a highway. While we were going at least 50 miles per hour, we passed over a car. It had broken down, stopped on the side of the road. My friend slows down, and pulled behind the other car. He got out of the car immediate and before I knew it he was helping the other person push the car down the road to a spot where wasn’t so close to the passing cars. From the way they were pushing the car, it looked as if my friend was pushing them all by himself. I thought my friend help a complete stranger like this was a great thing, but I won’t forget his good nature or character.

Last night I was having a shower in the bathroom at about 10:30 while the silence was broken by some unusual noises in outside. I quickly got dressing and ran out of the bathroom, only find a big fire on the third floor of our flat building. Luckily, most of the people, including my family, have left the building by the time the firefighters arrived. But a baby along with his parents were still trapped in a flat on a fourth floor. The firemen were true great. Some put out the fire but the others managed to rescue the parents and their baby. We are really grateful to the brave firefighters who risked their own lives to save ourselves.

Food is important to us human beings. However, some students are seen wasted food in the canteen these day. And now the situation is getting seriously. Saving food was our duty because food doesn’t come easily. We must respect or save food to show our gratefulness. Meanwhile, if we save food, more people in the poor areas can get food eat, which also helps fight against hunger. I also suggest those which waste food should get punish. In my view, the Internet is helpful. As is known to all, the Internet is playing a important
part in your daily life. On the Internet, we can read news home and abroad and got as much information as we can. We can also attend to the net school and read many books. We can even do shopping online. Besides, our ability to operating the computer can be improved great.
So we shouldn't be addicted to the Internet, or we'll get our life and study destroying. In addition, we should keep off the harmful website. Anyhow, this doesn't keep the Internet becoming our friend.

In the past five years, there had been a lot of new buildings in my city. As the result, parks, farms and open spaces have been destroyed. In many new neighborhoods, people live so much far from public transportation (交通), workplaces, stores, and schools that they depend great on their cars. Driving a lot are a waste of time. It also causes more pollutions to the air. So how can we do? First, we should stop all new buildings, that will protect our open spaces. Then we should support a law that providing money for public transportation. This will encourage people leave their cars at home.

Is it necessary to practice handwriting? Some students consider handwriting least important than before. They preferred the keyboard to the pen now, for the former is fast, convenient and clear. Though computers are very convenient, but handwriting still plays an important role in the modern world. Beside, beautiful handwriting makes a good impression in others. It shows your attitude to do things. Chinese character are very beautiful and rich in culture. As for me, when reading a neat written article, you will feel pleased and relaxed.
