With graduation drawing near, my classmates and I had decided to do something meaning to the memory of our school life. After a heated discussion, we agreed with making a video to record our experiences at school.
To begin with, material collecting took us a wholly week , during which we interviewed our teacher and took pictures of every aspect of school life. After that, the toughest part was editing and we debated for long over how to put into the video. Even though our opinions were divided, some compromises were made in the end. To my delight, a video turned out perfect. Several days later, when the video was played on the graduation ceremony, it was very received. The students and teachers moved into tears and shared a great time together. That surely gave us a great sense of achievement.

A man stops at a flower shop to order some flowers to be wired to his mother who lived two hundreds miles away. As he got out his car, he noticed a little girl sobbing there. When ask why, she said, “I want to buy a rose for my mother, and I have no money.” The man bought a rose for the girl. As they were leaving he offered the girl the ride home. But the girl directed him to a cemetery, when she placed the rose on a fresh dug grave (坟墓). The man returned to the flower shop, canceled the wire order, picking up a bouquet and drove to her mother’s house.
Mistakes are unavoidable in life. But attitudes towards it may make difference. I still remember how my spoken English was improved. At the beginning, I always kept silent in our oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher got to know about his situation, he encouraged me to speak out that I thought. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and my classmate would help me to find out my problem. I also joined in an English club to get more chances to speak. Practice makes perfect. Now I can talk fluent in English. Just as the saying went, “Every bean has its black.”Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Learning from mistakes, and success is just waiting for us.

Once there were an old woman. She had a lot of money. She was kind and generously. She always did something help the poor. At Christmas, she handed out food, that was made by herself, to the poor. She handed out a turkey leg but a potato to every homeless person he saw. The homeless people love her very much. One homeless men even wanted to give a penny to her as for a gift. She felt good. She was determined to do more, so she gave $50 with every homeless person she saw.
I will never forget that at the age of 12 I was asked to deliver a speech entitled An Unforgettable Experience before the whole class! How terrible shy I was the moment I thought of that. I had no choice but prepare for it, though. First, I drafted the speech, which was easy. But the hardest part lies in my oral presentation. The real moment began as I stood on the platform with my legs trembled and my mind blank. But my listener were waiting patiently. Gradually I found myself back, giving out my speech fluently. After which seemed to be ages, I found my audience applauding. I made it! From then on, my fear disappeared. Actually with your confidence building up, I now turn out to be the great speaker. Looking at back, I know the greatest difficulty on the way to success is fear. Overcome it, or you will be able to achieve your goals.

The other day, it was my birthday and I was looking forward to see my friends. We were meeting at a my favorite Italy restaurant. I was exciting and got to the restaurant at exactly 7 o'clock. I looked around for a familiar face but failed. Still, I decided to wait for him patiently. The restaurant quickly filled up with customer, but none of them were my friends. Today, I saw the funny incident happening outside a grocery shop. Two little kids were playing together happy. One was very fat with a large stomach, which was eating junk food. The other kid reached out or felt his stomach, joking, “See how big your stomach it is, but you are still eating much!” I amused and looked at the other kid. I couldn’t help laugh out as he was much fatter with an even large stomach!

Yesterday morning I was on my way to work. Suddenly I stopped by a woman on the sidewalk. She asked me if I knew how to get to CASS, that is a local shelter for the homeless. I could tell she was extreme upset, so I told her I’d look it up for her on my smartphones. While waiting, she told the she was losing and didn’t have money for the bus. When I am young, I dreamed of becoming chef. My dad, therefore, insisted that I was too young to learn to cook. For many year, he only allowed me to observe him cook. When I was 18, my dad finally allowed myself to start cooking at my own. Years of watching made it quite easily for me to cook dishes like Kung Pow chicken but I could even make a cake! Now I can cook almost all kinds of common dishes, make cooking like an art to express my creativity.
