Maria, a 91-year-old woman, has an unbelievable experience last week. A group of thief broke into her house but took nothing away with themselves. Maria remembered that the windows were broken and all her boxes were opened, and nothing was missing. Instead, she found a handwritten note that was said that “This is to help you get by.” Besides a note there was some money. It seemed that the thieves realized how poor Maria lived and decided not to take something - but to help. One policeman who has been working for 40 years was surprising by this event too. Later Maria framed the note receiving from her friendly thieves and used the money buy sweets for her great grandchildren.

I always dreamed traveling on my own. But my parents worried about me all the time. They thought I might have trouble solve the problems I met. In order to comfort him ,I decided to travel with a friend and they agreed. It take me just two minutes to book two train ticket from my hometown to Nanjing, paying with Alipay. I also downloaded an app which was using to help me find the hotel easy. We spent several days in Nanjing and visited the number of old museums, that contained many beautiful paintings. Although this was the first time that I had left home, but I really had a good time.
One day, I was studying at home while I heard a loud noise. I went out to see what had happened. What I saw made me scaring. A building was on the fire. Some people were using water put out the fire. A few people jumped out of the window. Besides, those which were still on the second floor were crying for help. The people outside don’t know how to help them. Firefighters arrived at last and we fought the fire bravely. Then the people inside was taken out. They were serious injured and were taken to the hospital at once.
Thanks to the firefighters, the people were saved and the fire was put out at the end.
Patience is of great important in our daily life. Once I waited for a bus come at a stop.30 minutes passed,but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed,I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute,I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus,I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possible waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience,I'll think of this experience.
My cousin George and I went on a trip to my uncle yesterday. We were riding along a hillside while suddenly some big stones were rolled down and knocked us off our bikes. George’s legs got seriously injure and so did mine. We couldn’t move a bit. Lucky, I saw some farmers ahead. Wave our hands, we cried for help like crazy. On hearing us, they run to the spot as fast as they could. Thanks their help, we were all sent to a nearby hospital and received medical treatment in time. Although we don’t know their name, we feel they are like our dear big brothers and sisters.
It was on Sunday so I didn’t have to go to school as usual. My parents went to the countryside to see my grandparents, left me alone. After finishing my homeworks, I began to play football at home. All of sudden, I kicked the ball so hardly that it flew right onto a vase and broke it. It was a great favorite of my mother’s. I decided to tell my parents it was the fault of the cat for fear that she might punish me. Therefore, when they got home, I hesitated for a moment and told them that truly happened. Instead of punishing me, they just hope that I would never make so a foolish mistake again.
On snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because of the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what’s worse, the bus runs out of gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait for help. A man who lived nearby saw that had happened. He and some villagers succeeded in open the door and helped all of them out of the bus. He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in their home and finally help came. All of them were thankfully for his help.
It was extreme cold last Monday morning. While I was walking on my way to school, I noticed two street cleaner sweeping the street. Seeing them work so hard on such a cold morning, I was moved and made up my mind do something for them. After arriving at school, I discussed with some classmates that we could do. The next day, they got up early and prepared porridge (粥) at home. When we handed the cleaners with the hot porridge and expressed our appreciation for their hard work, they looked a little surprising at first. And then they takes the porridge and thanked us happily. Since it was very cold, we all fell warm at that moment.
When I was a kid, the very thing that aroused my interest about New Year's Eve was trying to stay wake until midnight. My parents didn't force me to go to bed early. However, I usually fell asleep before the New Year arrives. It wasn't until my 10th birthday when I could stay up late but was able to cheer with the rest of the family. I woke up happily next morning. When asking if I wanted to make a New Year's wish, I said I would try to fight less with my brother. Unfortunately, the wish was lasted only until dinner time. The reason was that my brother and me got into an argue about who would set the table.
As the saying go, treat others as you would like to be treated. If we want to be treated well, and we should treat others well too.
Two years before, I was admitted to a high school. I felt proud and superior. Therefore, I always looked down upon my classmates who turned for me in their studies. One day, Tom asked me help him workout a math problem. I glanced at it, and said, "It's so easy. What foolish you are!" On hear it, he said angrily, "I won't ask you again." I was shocking. Only then did I realize why I was so unpopular with my classmate. From then on, I tried to treat them equal and helped them with all my heart.
