Last week, my son found a toy by the roadside. He was so exciting by this amazing find. He holds onto it all day. However, that evening, I saw a post from a mother try to find a lost toy — her son’s favorites. Then I immediately sent him a message that we had it. The next morning, I told my son the news the toy in his arms belonged to another little boy. To my surprise, he glad gave me the toy and said he knew what were the right thing to do. Then the toy was returning to its owner. A week later, that little boy’s mum bought with a new toy for my son as a big thank-you gift.

Yesterday, one of my colleague expressed her wish to reading The Little Prince. This is the five year that we’ve worked together. So I decide to make her wish come true. I went to a bookstore after work to look for book, imagining her reaction when she discovered it on her desk the next morning. The next morning, I arrived early at the office than usual so that nobody would see me secret leaving the book on her desk. This small gesture really made me happy. She thanked for everyone in our office. How a pleasure it is to help her realize her dream!

Last term, nothing were going well in my study. One day, my father suggested we took a walk. While walking, my father said, “I believe there are still many good things to be thankful, no matter what hard life is.” Motivate by his words, I began keeping track of the good things in my life. When the sun rose, I wrote it down on paper and careful put that paper in a box. Each time I wear my favorite dress, and I wrote that down. On New Year’s Eve, I opened a box and read all the good things, feel pleased. Recording good things is a good habit which I will keep up.

The other day, I was invited my friend Sam's home for dinner. I felt a bit surprising when I saw Bill there. It was two month since we two had quarreled, so I was embarrassed and didn't know how to do. I sat down on the sofa but began to watch TV. Later, Sam came to ask me to make up with Bill. Until then I realize that Sam had arranged the dinner on purpose. He went up to Bill and greeted him warmly, smile at him. He looked verb happy and talked with me excited. That night, we had a great fun together.

Today is the happy day in this holiday. Although I was very tired, but I found myself in these busy days. Usual, I am afraid of taking a bus. The awful smell of the bus drives me mad, make me feel carsick. But today I did feel carsick. I could defeat carsickness finally. At night I went out with an old friend I ever liked him, but all of us were so busy with examinations at high school that we hadn't been together. I was such surprised when I received his call that I could hardly believe my ears. At first, I think we would never meet before we graduated. Thank him for giving me a happy day!

On Mother's Day,Tom stopped his car outside a flower's shop.He wanted to order some nice flowers and ask a shop to deliver them to his mother.He was about to enter the shop while he saw a little girl crying by the roadside.Tom asked her for what had happened.The girl said she wanted to buy a rose for her mother,and had no money.Hearing this,Tom went in and bought a beautifully rose for the girl.Then he offered to drive her home,but she insisted she was going to another town by bus to send the rose to mother.Tom was so touching that he changed his mind.After driving her to the bus station,he returned to the shop,buy a large bunch of flowers, and drove all the way to his mother.He would give the flowers to his mother with person.
Planning is good as it decides in details how we do what we want to do it. However, a plan bear no fruit without being actual carried out. My experience in the English speech contest last month is a case in point. A month before the event, I spent hours work out a schedule with my goals and practical steps. After that, I set out read widely for an inspiring topic, wrote a speech, and practicing in beautiful pronunciation with good public speech skills. I finally stood out among the rest as a first prize winner. I know why I achieved my success. It came from good planning but better practice.
On my way to the bookstore, I noticed a group of people were surrounded two anxious foreigners. I stopped and found that they were tourist from Canada who careless left a very important wallet in a taxi. Then I accompanied them to the nearest police station and without the police’s help, we got in touch with the taxi company. We told that a driver had just turned in a wallet and then a policeman drives us to the company without delay. The two Canadians happily claimed their wallet, that contained their passports, flight tickets, some cash or credit cards. At last, they expressed our thanks to me. I feel it is really a great pleasure to help the others.

One day, Sally went to work by the taxi. Unfortunately, when she arrived her office, she realized that she has left her bag in the taxi.
She became worried because in the bag was the material needing for the meeting to be held in an hour.
Half an hour late, she received a call from a man, told her that he was sending the bag to her in person. Wondering where the man knew her address and telephone number, Sally went downstairs. It was actually the driver which taxi she had taken. The driver told Sally that he had found his business card in the bag so that he could find Sally. Sally expressed her thank to the driver and hurried upstairs, heading for the meeting room.
One year ago, I had a special English lesson hold at the railway station. It was quite different from the regular English classes we were familiar to, for we had no textbooks, no blackboard and no fixed seats.
Gathered at the entrance of the station, we were told to collect many English words and sentences as possible there. Curious and excited, they walked around the station and looked everywhere, searching for any informations in English. Whenever an English word comes into sight, the class would burst into the cheers as if we had discovered a new world. With the Chinese translation and vividly pictures, we could figure out their meaning with ease.
Now, this unforgettable lesson still encourages me to be an active learner where I go.
