Yi Jiefeng is a Shanghai woman who has planted millions of     1    (tree)in Inner Mongolia over the past 12 years.

In 2000, Yi’s son, Yang Ruizhe, was killed.in an accident,     2    made her extremely sad.But she    3    (final) found a way to deal with the sadness by devoting her own life to achieving her son's dream: to plant trees in Inner Mongolia in order to stop the desert.

So Yi and her husband used Ruizhe's insurance money to set up an    4    (organize) called Green Life in 2003.They didn’t have much knowledge of agriculture, and with less than 200 mm rainfall that year, the trees     5    (blow)away.The couple didn’t give    6    .They asked for advice from experts and    7    (manage)to plant trees the next season.When they would go and plant trees every year, it rained every time.

Why did Liu open this library? Back in 1974, Liu     3    ( finish) his study in high school. At that time, villagers would ask him to tell stories. But it wasn't long before Liu's stories run out. Besides, many villagers played mahjong and cards to kill the time. "How can I give myself and others a healthier pastime?" Liu asked     4     (he). That's when he decided to buy some books.

Over the years, Liu met with many kinds of difficulties；,    8     he has been able to overcome them and kept his library open. Among readers there are the book- loving students and teachers. " It is the busiest time for the library when the children are on winter or summer holidays,"said Liu. "

Now, his two-floor library has more than 7 ,000 books and a computer, a DVD recorder; and Karaoke,     9    ( offer) more entertainment and learning choices to the villagers. " I have devoted my past years to the library,and I will keep her company in the following years,said the man,now in his     10    (sixty).
