One day, Nick invited his friends to supper. He was cooking some delicious food in the kitchen. Suddenly, he     1     ( find ) that he had run out of salt. And anyone who took advantage of that situation would be showing a lack of respect for the sweat and struggle of the man who worked very hard     7     ( produce ) it.” “But such a small thing couldn’t     8     ( possible ) destroy a village.” “In the beginning, there was only     9     very small amount of unfairness in the world, but everyone added a little, always     10     ( think ) that it was only small and not very important, and look where we have ended up today.”

Last winter my dog, Anne and I go to the Arctic Hill. It was covered with ice, what made it very interested to slide(滑行) down. Anne did a trick with her tail. I turned around three times before I reached the bottom(底部)! Some young boys were watched us slide. We wanted to slide down too. Then I came up a good idea. I asked Anne that she would agree.

We played at the bottom of the hill but when the young boys slid down, we flew right into the softly and safe places. In this way everyone had a fun.

Turning to my next customer, I was terrified to see a gun ________ out of his coat. The next moment a loud noise ________ my ears. Everything went black. I was falling.... After ________ seemed a very a long time, I opened my eyes and found myself in bed! ________ shaking from the memory of this terrible dream, I got dressed and ran out of the house. As ________, the bus wasn’t on time, and I arrived at 9:25.

“Smith!” the manager cried out in a voice like thunder. “ Later again! Go and start work at once!” To my ________ , the first customer was a girl ________ a red dress and behind her stood a man carrying something wrapped in brown paper. The dream!   ________ that the surprise of my life!
