When a lion was asleep, a little mouse began running up and down beside him. This soon wakes up the lion. He was very angry, and caught the mouse in his paws.
"Forgive me, please." cried the little mouse. "I may be some use to you someday." The lion was amusing at these words. He thought, "What could this little mouse help me?" However, he lifted up her paws, allows him to get away.
A few days later on, the lion was caught in a trap. The hunters wanted to take him live to the king, so they tied him to a tree and went away to look for a truck.
Just then a little mouse passed by, and saw the lion, who were lying in despair. He went up to him, and soon chewed away the ropes. "Was I not right?" asked the little mouse.

One June, I helped my grandma water the freshly planted flowers around the house. She was so gentle with them no wonder they grew so fast. When all the work were finished, I ran to get my bike to ride for a while. As I was getting on it, however, I noticed there was anything new. I got off and kneel down on the walkway leading to our house. I found a single wild flower coming out of a crack by the walkway, without the water, soil or love.
The surprised new life hit me a lot. Sometimes in my own life, I felt my grow looked like grandma’s flowers, that were loved and cared for. At other times I felt as if I were that wild flower, growing by the walkway quiet and having to grow through the solid concrete. I realized that it doesn’t matter where you grow and it just matters that you grow.

My friend Tom has benefited great from humour. He is kind but overweight, that brings him a lot of problems. Once one of my classmates laugh at him, “why are you so fat?” We all stopped to stare at Tom, wonder how he would answer the question. I used to delay things until deadlines, that caused me much trouble. Therefore, I thought of some ways to get rid the bad habit. First, I took a shower right after I got home from school. It refreshed me but made my thoughts more active. Furthermore, in order to avoid being constant disturbed by my cell phone, I left them with my parents. The final strategy I use was scheduling. I managed to planning my days ahead of time so that I could break up my tasks instead of having too many work to do on the last day. By using these simple technique, I’ve improved my efficiency and made a great progress.

Failure comes to us now and then.I suffered painful failure in the exam hold the other day,and it helped me find a new self.Before the exam,I had promised my parents that I will get the best marks in all my subjects.However,I took everything for granted,ignoring my teachers’ advice or paying little attention to my homework.Therefore,I failed two of my favorite subjects,math and physics,what surprised everyone include myself.Looking at back,I realized that it was our overconfidence that led to the failure.Only if we are modest and work hard will we are able to have the chance to achieve our goal.

I will share one experience with you. With the College Entrance Examination draw near, I was filled with great anxiety. However, I couldn’t be absorbed in study, resulting from my failing in the examination. I got very discouraging. Just then, my teacher, Miss Zhang, approach me and said, “In life we all have moment when we can’t achieve what we want it. It is natural. Don’t allow those moments to weaken you, and turn them into motivation to inspire you.” Her words were a reminder which provided myself with constant encouragement to smile at life. Consequently, I gained what I deserved.
So it is an optimistic attitude which matters most of all. It gives you the confidence to deal with difficulties and to achieve what you want in your life.
