1 . Being part of a club is such a great experience for people of all ages. Here are five benefits of joining a club.
You can meet new people.
Usually, the people you meet are easy to get along with because you both have something in common: your interest in the club.
You can learn new skills.
Everyone in a club has a job to do. Your work might be something that you’re already great at or something that you don’t have much experience with.
The idea of joining a club between work, school, friends and family may seem overwhelming (令人难以应对的). However, once you get used to your role in a club and learn to manage your time, you will find there is still enough time left for other things that need to be done daily.
You can gain experience for the future.
The skills you learn will not only allow you to succeed in that profession but will also look great on a resume (简历) if you join a club that is similar to the career you want to enter! If you dream of becoming a lawyer, for example, you will be thankful for the practice you got from being part of such a club.
You can improve confidence.
Joining a club requires courage.
A.You can stick to your plan. |
B.A confident person is popular. |
C.There is something to learn either way. |
D.You can get better at time management. |
E.At first you may not be sure if you will ft in. |
F.As they say, teamwork makes the dream work. |
G.Many clubs have monthly meetings or meet a few times a week. |
2 . There are many fun activities that you can do as a family. All that is required is your imagination and some time. And the best part is that these are kind of fun and family memories that a child will remember for a lifetime.
Family Game Night
Kids often get games for birthdays, and they wanted to have a chance to play with their family or create some games of their own. Charades(看手势猜字谜游戏) will encourage children to use their imagination. Divide the family into teams and let each team come up with words and the other should act out.
Family Art Time
Pick some time for the family to sit down and come up with their own art. It doesn’t need to be just a drawing — take some old magazines, let the kids cut out pictures and paste them into their own shape. Or let them use whatever else they can find to make something from their imagination.
Family Picnic
Taking the family for a picnic is a great way for some fun that doesn’t cost any money. If the weather is nice, take them to a park or playground and let them have a day of playing.
Family Field Trip
A family field trip doesn’t cost a cent. Ask a nearby farm owner if you can bring your kids out for a tour and to see some animals. Or take them to a park to find certain items from nature. Ask a local business if you could bring the family to see how things work—you might be surprised at the number of people who like sharing what they do with others, and it could be an interesting lesson for kids.
