Music is playing important part in our study and daily life. As we know, music can produce a lively and happily atmosphere. When I felt depressed, listening to music can cheer me up. Besides, after a whole days’ hard work, listening to music enables me to feel relaxing. What’s more, I can learn a lot by listen to music. However, if listening to music take up too much time, it may affect on our study. I don’t go in for loud popular music, that may disturb others.
In a word, music makes our life better but helps us become happier.

My grandmother and mother are both well-known piano players. When I was 3 years old, I developed to an interest in musical instruments, especial in piano. The home environment has always inspired me to keeping practicing. Since I could remember, I’ve been playing piano even for about eight hours a day. I am a shy and quiet girl, because the instrument is a unique means for me to express me feelings. I have participated in various musical event at home and abroad. Combine erhu with contemporary music, I hope to make more people know this tradition instrument. It is encouraging that what I have done contribute to their better understanding of Chinese culture.

Dear Chris,
I’m Li Jin, the student at Chenguang High School. Heard that you are coming to our school to give us a lecture about Western music, I’m more than delightful.
Western music is that I like most. The reason why I love Western music is that the piece of music naming Fate Symphony by Beethoven inspired me a lot to move on when I am in difficulty. I hold the firmly belief that it also has given some other motivation of life and study. In addition to, the story that Beethoven continued composing after he went deaf moved me too.
Would you like to tell us anything more about him and his music?
I’m looking forward to enjoy your wonderful lecture.
Yours,
Li Jin

It is perhaps the most performed song in the world. A birthday party wouldn’t be complete with participants joyously sing out the song around a big birthday cake. Yet “Happy Birthday to You” is privately property and protected under copyright.
It is fine when you sing it by yourself. But if someone wants to do them in movies or TV shows or in any other commercial activities, they need to pay the Warner Music Group for a right. According with a forbes.com report, “Happy Birthday to You” is believing to be netting the company $2 million a year in fees, this could soon be changed.

Hello, everyone. I am Emily in China. I feel very lucky to be able to study in this famous university, which has the most prettiest campus I has ever seen.
I enjoyed dance with my parents very much when I was still child. I started studying ballet at the age of six. By the time I was nine, I had to dance three day a week.
Earlier this year, I apply for this training program and I just moved there last week. I hope that I can graduate from this school successful. I will be very happy if I can became a dancer in the future.
I started playing the piano at the age of six. However, when I go to high school I had to leave my family, my home but my piano behind. I missed playing the piano very so much that I spent all the money I got for my eighteen birthday on a brand new guitar. It was portable. I was able to play it whenever I went. When I was tiring, playing music relaxed me. It was perfect way to cheer you up when I was feeling down. I also made some good friend by joining a band. In a word, I benefited great from playing musical instruments.
Dear David,
I was excited to know you like music from your letter, and neither do I. As we all know, music is an important part of our life today. No one will say no to music and everybody has their taste in the music. When I was very young, my parents would encourage me listen to classical music. They wanted to develop their interest and good taste. So as I grow up, I fall in love for rock music, which makes me feel cool. It is said that music can heal people’s souls. While listening to some peaceful music, I am surprising calm. When I am not happy, I will listen to music and then dance to it in my bedroom. Music can help me forget something annoyed.
It’s great that we share the same hobbies. Music is full of charm. Could you introduce some nice English songs in your next letter?
Yours,
Li Ming

I can’t live without music. It may not sound practically because things such as food, water and air is much more important than music for human beings. However, I think the thought of change the world by spreading the joy of music is not that ridiculous. Cimorelli is one of my favorite band. I’ve downloaded the great many of their songs. Whenever I feel down or disappointing, I listen to them because the lyrics (歌词) are positive and meaningful. Thanks to their songs, I have realized the important of helping others and that being different is not something to be ashamed. I also liked singing. Although I’m not really good at it, but I still enjoy it. I love music and I believe that great music can change people’s lives.

My father and I have one thing in common: We are all music lovers. My father loves sing as well as listening to music. Every morning, he will go to the park nearby or practice singing there. In the evening, when he usually enjoys music with my mother. He says music makes himself relaxed after a day’s work.
Unlike my father, I like playing a violin. I’m regarded as one of the best violinist in my school. I still remember I once invite my father to the music festival in my school where I played a beautiful piece music. I could see how proudly he was while I was playing. Music brings us together.
