Music is playing important part in our study and daily life. As we know, music can produce a lively and happily atmosphere. When I felt depressed, listening to music can cheer me up. My grandmother and mother are both well-known piano players. When I was 3 years old, I developed to an interest in musical instruments, especial in piano. Aiming to enrich students, campus life, our school organized an Association Culture Festival themed Let’s Sing And Dance on last Thursday, what turned out to be a great success. As scheduling, this festival started in the school lecture hall at 9 a. m., last for 2 hours. In a beginning, members from the singing club stage a show. It made all the audience present in highly spirits. After that, members from dancing club took turns to give their well-prepared performance. I enjoy listen to music. It helps me calm down after an busy day. I like many different types of music, such for rock, R&B and so on. Last year I went to a pop festival with some friends. It lasted for three days. So we decided camp on a field. The weather was awful and it rain all day. We were totally wet! Although the weather was bad, but the concert continued and the music was great. I particular enjoyed some of the supporting band. I found them performing better than the main stars. It was probably because the concert was their great opportunity to have their music hear. And that was great for them to get cheered by music fans.

Erhu is a very tradition Chinese instrument with a very long history, and it consists of three parts. Firstly, it have a long neck made of hardwood, at the top of whom are two large turning pegs (钉). Secondly, two large strings are attach from the pegs to the base. At the bottom, there is a small resonator (谐振器) body which is covered to the skin of snake on the front end. In addition to, there was a bow (弓) made of horse hair and tied to a bamboo stick.
When playing it, you should use my left hand holding the long thin neck with four finger pressing on the strings. You also have to pass the bow between the two strings at same time.

I started playing the piano at the age of six. However, when I go to high school I had to leave my family, my home but my piano behind. I missed playing the piano very so much that I spent all the money I got for my eighteen birthday on a brand new guitar. It was portable. I was able to play it whenever I went. When I was tiring, playing music relaxed me. It was perfect way to cheer you up when I was feeling down. I also made some good friend by joining a band. In a word, I benefited great from playing musical instruments.
