2 . Anyone who watches CCTVS knows sports news and learns English as well. Try to listen to sports topics that interest you and once you become more comfortable with the show's rhythm, you'll be on your way to talking like sports hosts.
If you'd like to listen to shows that discuss your favorite sports, you can find shows by using he iTunes Music Store search engine. Once you've downloaded a show to your iTunes library, select a 1-3 minute segment (片段) to listen. Play this short section over and over until you get everything down, word-for-word. You might need to turn to a dictionary to identify some difficult words. This process will improve your listening skills and, over time, strengthen your vocabulary. The show hosts will probably be speaking very quickly, but don't let this discourage you. The more you listen to the show, the more comfortable you'll become with their particular manner of speaking.
