As we know, air pollution is serious environmental problem in our city. Every day we had to take in very dirty air, which isn’t good for our healthy. He suggests living a low carbon life, which means using less energy in our daily life so that we can help reducing carbon dioxide in the air. For example, she always picks up some waste paper on the street or uses the blank side to write something. While he is watching TV, he always turns up the screen brightness to the minimum and turns off the light. Therefore, he goes to work by bike instead of driving. Some people think what he is doing is just a show. No one can live such a simply life with so many modern invention around us. As far as I am concerned, I am strongly in favor his idea and his behavior. Although what he is doing has no huge effect on global warming, but he at least can enjoy a healthy life.

As is well-known that birds are our friends. But the large number of birds have been killed for food. The other day I was walking in the woods while a shot was heard. Hearing the shot, the bird in the trees flew to all directions. A bird was injured badly and looked sadly. Finding the bird injured, so I decided to take it home. At home I take good care of it. When I was a child, I hoped to live in the city. I think I would be happy there. Now I am living in a city , but I miss my home in countryside. There the air is clean or the mountains are green. I live in a very old town which is surrounding by beautiful woods. It is a famous beauty spot. In Sundays, hundreds of people come from the city to see our town and to walk through the woods. Visitors have asked to keep the woods clean and tidy. Litter baskets have been placed under the trees, and people still throw their rubbish everywhere. Last Wednesday, I go for a walk in the woods. That I saw made me very sad. I counted seven old cars and three old refrigerators. The litter basket were empty and the ground was covered with pieces of paper, cigarette ends, old tyres, empty bottles or rusty tins. Among the rubbish, I found a sign which was said, “Anyone who leave litter in these woods will be punished!”
