Last year, our city called on the citizens to sort and recycle rubbish, but I became a volunteer in my neighbourhood. After dinner, I got to the place that different rubbish should be thrown into different bin. Then came an old lady, carrying a bag of kitchen waste with plastic bottles in them. I helped her pick out of the recyclable bottles with patient. After that, more people came and I show them how to classify the rubbish mixing in their bags. When the kitchen waste was taken away, I finished my job. Although tired, I felt happily and went home with strong sense of achievement.

We are encouraged to be nice to other people. However, most people forget to be nice to environment. It is widely acknowledged; the importance of environmental protection can't be ignored for the fact that we should make up the earth a good place to live on.
There are many ways to help reducing global warming. Walking is my preferring exercise, which I think is a good choice. If I had to go somewhere far away, I'll take the public transportations. Additional, I try to encourage friends and families to do the same. It's only when everyone does anything to help which we can hope to make a difference together.

John went shopping in a store, and he forgot to bring a bag. So he buys a shopping bag. After arriving home, it occurred him that he could make a bag by using his old trousers. Several hours earlier, he made himself a very nice bag. His mother was amazing at what he had done. Avoiding spending money unnecessarily is a way of saving. And making a good use of things is an approach to protect the environment. What's more, it is helpful for you to improve the ability to make things by hands. It not only brings us pleasure but reduce waste around us.
