Since last year, the haze (霜)weather had happened many times in my hometown, when it has done great harm to our life. What’s worse, many people have to see the doctor due with serious diseases caused by the haze.
People have realized the harm effects on their health and the importance of protect the environment. Measures have taken to reduce the haze. The government suggests each citizen goes to work by public transport.
As for me, I go to school by bike and on foot every day. Besides, I will tell the others to protect the environment, too. Now, it’s time for each of us to contribute to the environmental protection, doesn’t it?

Yesterday I was walking around the park while I saw some rubbish leaving on the ground. People just walk by as if they had not seen it. I thought I would do something differently. I picked up and put it into a nearby dustbin. I was felt nice because I saw someone else doing a same thing as I had just done. I thought my kind had affected him. Saving the Earth is saving us humans. It is a good lesson what we should learn in life and together we can make the Earth a good place to live on one step at a time.

Last Thursday, we have had a class meeting to discuss where to go for our autumn trip. We came up several choices such as going boating, climbing a mountain, and going to an amusement park. Finally, we decided to go mountain climbing.
The next day, we left to the mountain early in the morning. While climbing the mountain, we enjoyed the warm sunshine and the beautiful sceneries. However, when we reached the top, we were shocking to see rubbish here and there, such as bottles and banana peels. We felt sadly that many tourists didn't take good care of nature. Soon, they started to pick them up. With all the rubbish putting in the rubbish bin, the place looked many more beautiful than before.
When we came back, it was 5:30 in the afternoon. We were tired and happy.

Qinghai Lake has seen it largest water areas since 2004 as a result of increased rainfall and improving ecological conservation. Increased rainfall was the mainly reason for the lake’s water area expansion. Enhanced ecological conservation also played the important role.
The lake has been shrinking since the 1950s due to multiple reason, such as human activities. It was the combined efforts of conservation and changes to the regional climate which turned things around.
In 2008, Qinghai launched a 10-year plan on the ecological environment protection as well comprehensive management of the Qinghai Lake basin. However, the improved ecosystem of the lake has benefited from a variety of plant and animal species.

Last Sunday we took a part in a clean-up activity in a forest outside the city. When we arrived, we were sad to see rubbishes everywhere. Though there was a “Do Not Litter” sign at the entrance, that didn’t stop people litter around. Our team leader, Jim, divided us by two groups - one cleaned up the north side of the forest and the other cleaned up the south side. We cleared up a lot of waste we were very happy to see the forest looked clean than before. It was absolutely worth our effort! There will be other clean-up activity in the green belt next Sunday. Would you like to be a greener person to protect our environment? Here was some advice. You should reduce the waste you produce daily. You can use all sides of the paper and collecting the drinking bottles. Remember to sort the waste so that it can be well recycle. It would be better for you turn off the power in your house when you go out. Instead of driving your car everywhere, you can save energy by either walking nor riding a bike. One day a man was wondering how to deal with the fallen leaves he had been collected.
He thought of a way to burn it up. And such he did. Just at that moment, Jack saw the fire with heavy smoke but he hurriedly asked his grandpa to come and see it. His grandpa managed put out the fire with water. Jack and his grandpa blamed the man over burning the leaves. They told him that burning leaves gave off poisonous gases, what could cause pollute.
“In order to protect the environment, a best way is to have them burying in the earth,” said Jack’s grandpa. The man felt sorry for what he had done.

Yesterday I visit the Hong'en Temple Park with my friends. The park was full of beauty flowers. When I were enjoying the wonderful scenery, something unpleasant caught my eye.
