Do you know students’ life in the US? Do the students in the US have a little homework? Are their teachers very nice? Do they work hard at school? After I go to school in the US, I know the answers. Let me tell you the students’ life in the US.

Get up at 6:00 am and then go to school by bus at seven o’clock.

Class starts at 8:00 am. The students in the US have many classes every day like math, geography, history, IT and so on.

There is a little homework after school. But after doing that, you should do many other (其他的) things. Students have a lot of after-school things, such as swimming, golf (高尔夫) and art. In China, many students do after-school things from Monday to Friday. But American students do them for two hours a day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Students in the US might have more time to do their things, but they are hard (努力的) workers too.

There are many traditional (传统的) holidays in China.

The Spring Festival is the most important one in China. On the evening before the Spring Festival, all the family members get together and have a big dinner. After dinner, they watch TV and play cards while waiting for the new year to come.
The next one is the Lantern Festival. It is on the 15th day of the first lunar (农历) month. That night people often go out to enjoy the lantern show.
Then comes the Dragon Boat Festival. It is on the 5th day of the fifth lunar month. It is a festival for an ancient poet (诗人) Qu Yuan. People often hold dragon boat competitions (竞赛)   on that day. So it is now a festival of the traditional Chinese sports.
The next one is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is on the15th day of the 8th lunar month. The whole family sit in the open air and enjoy the bright moon while they’re eating mooncakes and fresh fruit.

When you go to London, you can see many buses and cars on the road. You can also see a lot of bikes because many people like to go to work by bike. Why do so many people choose to ride bikes?     32     Second, you always wait for a bus for a long time and it goes very slowly. I often go to work late by bus. One of my friends says, “    33     We can ride bikes to go to work together. ”

“But my bike is old,” I answer. “    34     I am afraid they are very dangerous.”

“Don’t be afraid!” says my friend. “ We can ride slowly. It’s OK. ”

    35     My friend and I ride slowly. It usually takes me forty minutes to go to work by bus, but only thirty minutes by bike.

Now I like going to work by bike. It’s also good for my health.
