Tree Planting Day
Today is March 11th, and tomorrow is Tree-planting Day. We will go for an outing(出游).
In the morning, we will go to the park and plant some trees. The boys are going to dig holes(挖洞). The girls are going to water the trees. I think we will be busy(忙碌的), but it’s great to make our world more beautiful.
In the afternoon, we will have lunch and play in the park. Claire will sing a song, she has a beautiful voice. Jane will dance with Mike, they are good dancers. Judy will fly her new kite, it’s her birthday gift from her father. I think we will have a good time.

A Great Hobby!
This girl is Megan Yates, she is from the U. S. A. She goes to school and does homework from Monday to Friday, and she goes to the parks with her friends on Saturday and Sunday. Her friends like listening to music and playing games, but Megan has a great hobby. She loves cooking(烹饪).
Megan will enter the Little Chef Competition(参加“小厨师比赛”). This competition is for boys and girls who are from11 to 17 years old. The winner(优胜者) can go to China and learn about Chinese cooking and food.

How to Keep Healthy
Everybody wants to be healthy. You know food is very important. There are many kinds of healthy food. You can have more bananas, apples, oranges, tomatoes and Chinese cabbages because fruits and vegetables are good for you. But don’t eat too much chocolate. It’s not healthy. Fast food is not healthy. Don’t eat too much. Healthy food can make you tall and strong. Remember there is a saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Sports can also keep you healthy. Doing exercise for about one hour a day is very good for us. Don’t read in bed. It’s not good for your eyes. Get up early and do some sports every day. Don’t be lazy! You will be healthy and happy.

Yesterday was an exciting day. It was windy and there were lots of clouds. We played by the seaside.
We didn’t see any fish for a long time and we felt cold. Just then, we saw a big group of turtles. We were excited and jumped into water. I took some really good pictures.
Suddenly, there came three big fish. I didn’t know what kind of fish they were. I watched them behind a rock. They also found me. But these fish were more interested in the turtles than in me. Then one big fish swam up to my camera and I got a photo of its face. I was a little scared, but I did not move. It soon swam away.
I am really happy with the photos. What a great day!
