The satellite, carried by a long March-3B carrier rocket, is the 30th BDS-3 satellite and the 55th of     2     whole BeiDou satellite family. The launch marked the completion of the country’s domestically developed BeiDou constellation. When     3     (full) developed, the system will offer     4     (it) users services including high-precision positioning and short message communication.

5     (weigh) over 10,000 pounds, the final BDS satellite is the largest of its kind in the family, and is filled with propellants for the movement in orbit, said deputy chief designer Liu Tanxiong. “The reason     6     we launched this one in the final stage is to round out the navigation network,”Liu added. The last satellite, after joining BDS-3 family, will allow the constellation     7     (provide) more cost-effective navigation services, which rapidly wins the     8     (globe) market.

By 2000, the construction of the BDS-1 was completed, which was mainly used to broadcast positioning and timing     9     (signal) over China. 12 years later, the construction of BDS-2, designed to provide navigation services over the broader Asia-Pacific region, was completed. Now, the construction of BDS-3, with 24 satellites in medium-Earth orbits, three in inclined geosynchronous satellite orbits and three in geostationary orbits,     10     (schedule) to provide services worldwide.

In 1996, Scottish scientists cloned the first animal,     6     is a sheep named Dolly. Since then, scientists have cloned cows, cats, deer, horses and rabbits. They still have not cloned a human, though. In part, this is because     7     is difficult to produce a viable (能成活的) clone. In each attempt, there can be genetic mistakes that prevent the clone from     8     (survive). There     9     (be) also ethical concerns about cloning a human being.

The cloning of animals has been used in a number of     10     (difference) applications. Livestock (家畜) like cows and pigs have been cloned to produce more milk or meat.
