To help you further understand Chinese culture, our school will organize trip to the Confucius Temple. I'd like to share some details about them with you.
As scheduled, we will to meet at 7:30 a. m. on Thursday at the school gate. We will first visit the Confucius Temple, where we can learn much about Confucius but have a deeper understanding of the traditional Chinese culture. Then, we will visit several ancient building. After that, we were going to enjoy some puppet shows. You will be great impressed. Finally, we will taste some special snacks, that are truly delicious. One year ago, I had a special English lesson held at the railway station. It was quite different from the English classes with that we were familiar, for I found out that we had no textbooks and no fixed seats.
Gathered at the entrance of the station, we were told to collect as much English words and sentences as possible. Curious and excited, we walked around the station and looked everywhere, searching for any informations in English. Whenever an English word comes into sight, the class would burst out cheers as if we had discovered a new world. With the Chinese translation and vivid pictures, we could easy figure out its meaning.
As matter of fact, that is how we should do to be an active learner wherever we go.

In order to celebrate their 50th anniversary, our school is going to hold a party, which allow students to perform. Many students, that have special talents, are preparing to perform at the party. One of my classmates wants to play violin. That has surprised us, as in the past we were not aware on his talent. Some girls are practicing a dance designing by themselves. They look weakly, but we have found that they are quite energetic. I'm glad that the party makes us to know each other better. I begin to regret having given up learn how to sing professionally earlier, or I would be able to perform, either.

Aimed to enhance students’ awareness of responsibility, a coming-of-age ceremony was held on last Friday on the school playground.
Initially, the Senior 3 students made an oath that they will do their utmost to become qualified citizen. They swore to commit themselves for society. Then they conveyed their sincerely gratitude to their parents which had gone through numerous hardships to raise them. Two hours after, the ceremony put to an end with splendid performances.
This activity benefit all participants, inspiring them to exploit their full potential to fulfill their dreams and shoulder the responsibilities for our family and society.

Last year, I went to Hainan Island with my friends and stay there for two days. Hainan Island, a beautiful tourist attraction, located on the south of China, is well know for its beautiful blue sea and pleasant beaches with golden sands. On the first day, they went to the seaside and hiked here. It was so exciting for me to walking on the sands, leaving me some unforgettable memory. On the second day, we had some local food but sweet fresh juice. We spent that night in a tent, which was made us happy. In a word, we had good holiday on Hainan Island.
Last week, I paid a visit a newlyopened riverside park, where is located in the southeast of the city. The sky is clear and blue. I took a freely walk in the park,with a gentle wind touch my face. The flowers along the path were impressed me a lot. The beautiful scenery gave me a sense of refresh and life. Along the way, I took such many photos that my cellphone ran out of power in the end. The trip helped us recover from the busy schedule. What amazing the power of nature is! I'm looking forward to one more trip.
