Last night it snowed heavy. When Susan and I got up at this morning，we found the whole garden was covered with thick snow. So we decided clear the path. We got two spades but began our work at once. I’m an only child and I was happy as the young child. I was very luckily then. I had fourteen cousins and they lived in the same town which I grew up until I was ten. Many people have given us help as we grow up. Among those have helped me, my mother is the one I am the most thankful to her.
When I was in Grade 7, I had some difficulty learn English. I found it hardly to remember new words. So I have a hard time learning English. I couldn’t finish my English homeworks on time. Saw my problem, my mum always played games with me to help me remember new words. She even watched some English cartoons with me, that made me interested in English.
That is how I improved my English with my mother’s help five years before. I think I should owe my success for my mother’s help.

In our life there is many valuable experiences. As for me, cooking for my mom on her 40th birthday is an unforgettably experience. In order to surprise my mom that day, I decided cook a bowl of noodles with an egg. Wake up early, I began to boil the noodles in the kitchen. It was the first time that I have fried an egg by my own. Though I tried several times, but the eggs always got burnt. Just then, my mom came in. Seeing that I had done, she was moved to tear. She tasted the food joyfully, saying it was the most wonderful birthday gift he had ever received.
That evening I was doing lessons. It was about nine hours. I felt a bit dizzy （晕的） and heard a strange noise. It sounded as the flowing of water. Suddenly I found the walls were shaking as if someone was pushing them. Think perhaps I was too tired, I stood up and was going to sleep. Just then I heard someone shout “Earthquake! Look up! ” The words put fear into everyone’s heart. I rushed out the house as quickly as I could. The whole street was already full with people. I felt everything was shaking, the house, the trees, even the ground. The earthquake lasted a few seconds. The everything were quiet again.

I once had a bad experience. One day several years ago, I went shop with my friends. As I entered a small shoe store, but I saw two women selecting shoes. Suddenly they raise their voice and began to talk loudly about how beautifully the shoes were and how low the price was. Just then an old couple walked onto the shop. The two women urged her to buy a pair. When the couple left a store with the shoes, I noticed the shop owner give the two women some cashes.
