Dear Liu Fang,
Today the weather was wonderful, so I went out to the local park with some friends to fly kites. It seemed that half the city joined in us, so we had trouble find a good place to stand. But I felt so relaxing when we were done.
Over lunch, I was told that kites were invented by a man naming Mozi, who was something of a philosopher and worked hardly to bring peace between warring countries. He also created many clever inventions from wood. I think it is so wonderful that Mozi could invent something would bring relaxation and happiness to such many people. I never thought to yourself that something like kites needed a inventor.
Anyway, I have to do my homeworks. Talk to you later!
Love,
Peter

With the development of science and technology, intelligent robots will be wide used in the future. In families, robots will help people do some housework and taking care of the elderly, babies and patients. In addition to these task, robots will even be able to play the chess and do exercise with people. In factories, robots will be used to perform some dangerous jobs avoid accidents.

Dear Mark,
I’m writing to share my experience with you.
As you know that, dumplings, which are unique to China, are loved by Chinese and nearly all vegetables can be used as fillings. Besides, chopping vegetables into piece is tiring, especially when there is a large family to feed. Recently, I found an amazing device that get around this problem. It is a device mostly made by inexpensive, plastic-like parts. All you need to do is put the vegetables into the box, closing the lid and turn the handle. In less than two minutes, the vegetables were ready.
I am grateful to the inventor who came down with this clever idea, which makes my life conveniently. Have you ever impressed by small devices? I'm looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua
Yesterday I spent a splendid time with my robot named Aido who read books to me, playing my favorite music and told me funny stories. Aido controlled our household devices as turning on or off the lights. It offered a plenty of online courses that I wanted to learn. It also answered my questions about various topic. When I told it I was hungry and what I desired eat, it made food for me immediately. However, Aido could understand and read my emotions. We share communication from time to time throughout the wholly day. I am amazing at the advancement of science and technology, it brings great convenience and happiness to our life.

I almost didn’t wake up in time for school this morning. I stayed up late last night, prepare my lessons. The alarm clock goes off, but I didn’t hear them because I was too tired. It was already 7 o’clock when I opened my eye. The first thing I was aware was that I would be late. Terrified, I ran to school and without having breakfast. I didn’t want to be criticizing by the teacher, nor did I want to be laughed at by my classmates. Lucky, I rushed into the classroom in the last minute. We had a test today, for that I was well-prepared and it was so easy a exam that I got high marks. What an exciting experience!

Two years before, when I was travelling in Hengdian World Studios, I came across a crew making a new film with one of my favorite actor. I didn’t have my camera with me at that time, but I rushed back to the hotel to get it. Unfortunately, by the time I got back, they have finished the scene and the actor couldn’t be seen everywhere. I was really disappointing and about to leave when he walked out a building. He was right there in the front of me! I couldn’t believe my luck—not only did I have my photo taken with her, but he final signed his name on my shirt!

I couldn’t believe in my ears when I hear my name called. I was chose to play the leading role in the play, that was my dream. As a shy girl, I used to be quite afraid of speak in public. But my parents and teachers always encouraged me to do so. Now I have changed great. In class, I am often the first one to stand out and answer questions even if I may make some mistake. No pains, no gains. Now I am always brave enough to overcome the difficult and I have changed into a lively girl. So my experience shows that we should not be afraid of losing face and only this way can we make progress.
