I grew up in a family when no one was willing to show love. I knew I was loved, but it was hardly expressed, either in words and with a hug. Then, at the age of 14, I was met Judy. I quickly noticed how often she told her kid she loved them and how I hugged them. As with any habit, I picked it, and the more I did so, the easy it became for me. Now I never fail to hugging my friends or family members, and it has entire changed how I relate to them. It’s a awesome feeling!

My family had a rule when we were young. My mother would put a small basket and the large jar on the table with some paper. “Wherever you feel sad, wrote it down and put the note in the basket. Put your happily notes in the jar,” my mother told me. Each night after dinner, my mother would pull up out two notes from the basket and two from the jar read aloud. The basket contained notes saying things like “I’m lonely.” The paper in the jar made us smiling. Most evenings, the basket was empty. Therefore, the jar was always plenty. It reminded us to focus much on our blessings than our worries.

As my mother and father were always busy working, so I was often at home felt boring all the time and I felt sorry for myself. One day, in my way home from school, saw a person living in the park. He was wearing dirty but worn-out clothes. He gave me a big smile when he saw me. He looked if he was the happiest man in the world. Looked at him, realized how luckily I really was. I have enough food to eat and enough clothes to wear and I had hard-working parents who really cared about him. I realized what grateful I was to my parents for all that I had.

Three years ago, I had an unpleasant holiday after graduate from high school. I planned to go to Phillip Island since I have visited the Australian mainland before. Much with my disappointment, the guide cut my holiday shortly by two days. He made another mistake by sending me to the same places I had visited them the year before. Besides, the holiday I went on includes none of the activities mentioned in the travel plan. To make matters bad, I had to share a double room with someone I did not know, despite the fact I had paid for a single room. Lastly, my luggages arrived a week late as the result of the delay caused by the travel agency.

This afternoon I went to see my grandfather by bus. It very crowded and I had to stand. Besides me, there was a woman hold a little boy in her arms. In the front of her, a young man occupied two seat, pretending to be sleeping. I heard the little boy ask his mother curious, “What’s wrong with the uncle?” I had thought that perhaps the woman would blame the man. Beyond my expectation, the woman answers with a smile, “Be quiet. This uncle must be very tiring because of hard work.” The young man must have heard our conversation. His face turned red but offered one seat to the woman at once.

Hunter likes to go traveling in summer, but he had bad lucky this time. Last week he went to an old temple on a high mountain alone. On the way there it suddenly began to rain heavily, so he ran down the mountain quick. When he got to the foot of the mountain, he found that the wooden bridge was under of the water. He had to spend the rain night in a broken house. He was so cold that he could hardly fall sleep.

The next morning the rain stopped and the bridge was damaged. He thought the river was not deep, so he tried to swim. In the center of the river, the water nearly washed he away. Luckily, he was saved by two man, but he lost his bag. Then they gave him some foods and dry clothes.
