I can’t describe to to you what senior high school life is like. The path before you leads to a world full of    1    : a new environment, new knowledge and new ways of thinking. During the polar summer of 1910—1911, both teams organized food bases in     1     for their adventurous journeys the next year. Then came the total     2     (黑暗) of the polar winter. Both Captain Scott and Amundsen waited     3     (焦急地) for spring.
