National Theatre
Officially opened in 1963,he National Theatre is the largest public theatre in London. It shows 25 big productions a year, with many smaller performances(演出)and festivals.The Olivier
Theatre -its main stage-is a beautiful hall modelled on the ancient Greek theatre of Epidaurus.

Adelphi Theatre
The Adelphi Theatre opened its doors in December 1930 and is one of London’s famous West End theatres. Located in the centre of the Strand, it’s a specialist( 专家)in musical theatre showing performances such as Kinky Boots,Chicago, Sweeney Todd and Evita.

The Old Vic
This theatre in Waterloo is one of London’s most successful. For over 200 years, it has been known as a centrepiece of the London theatre for local people, receiving many personnel(职员) that went on to form the National Theatre. The theatre went through a complete refurbishment(翻新)in 2003.

Savoy Theatre
The Savoy dates back to 1881 as a theatre for the production of a number of Gilbert and Sullivan shows. Recent productions include classics such as The Joy of Text and Pretty Woman.

For a popular multi-day hike, check out the Tour du Mont Blanc, an epic 7—11 day hike through France, Italy, and Switzerland. 【推荐2】Tom Turcich of New Jersey became the 10th person to walk around the world. Over seven years, he walked 48,000 kilometers across six continents and 38 countries—most of it with his dog Savannah.
After a friend died in an accident at age 17, Turcich started to look at life differently, and decided to go on a journey around the world. It took over eight years of saving before Turcich finally left his home on April 2, 2015. About four months into the journey. Turcich got Savannah from an animal shelter in Texas. She joined him for the rest of the trip, becoming the first dog to walk around the world.
The pair walked around 30-40 kilometers a day, spending most nights camping. Some parts could not be done on foot, however—such as when Turcich and Savannah took a boat from Uruguay to Antarctica. In late 2017, Turcich also had to return home to recover from an illness he got while traveling through Ireland and the UK.
He and Savannah started walking again in May 2018, going through Europe, North Africa and Turkey before getting stuck in Azerbaijan for six months because of the COVID-19.
Now that he’s back home. Turcich says he wants to stay in one place for a while—and share his experience in a book.

Please remember that this is an a cappella competition!
No instruments or recorded music will be allowed.
Competitors may sing published or original songs in any style.
Competitors must be between eight and 15 years old.
There are four categories (类):
(1) Solo (8-11 years old) (2) Solo (12-15 years old)
(3) Group (8-11 years old) (4) Group (12-15 years old)
※Competitors under 12 years old must stay with a parent or other adult at all times.
※Each competitor must pay an entry fee of $10.
※Winners will receive $500 and a course of 20 lessons with famous voice coach Vickie Leonard.
※Winners will be decided by three judges from the Chilton School of Music. Their decision is final.
>Additional information
※Please arrive at the Edward Greatcoat Theater between 09: 00 and 10: 00 to register (登记), as the competition will start at 11: 00. The parking lot has limited spaces so you are advised to come as early as possible.
※Shared dressing rooms with showers will be provided for all competitors.
※Tickets for the competition are available at the theater from October 1st. There is no charge for these, but again, spaces are limited.
