Every morning, he gets up early to prepare a healthy breakfast for me. No matter how busily he is, he would drive me to and from school, rain or shine. When I am down or feel anxious about my grades, and my father will take me to a park, or inviting me to see a movie to help me relax. Unless necessary, he will accompany me to see a psychologist for professional assistance. What’s more, the fact that he has a positive attitude to life really have an everlasting effect on me.

About eighth years ago, I went to visit my grandfather during the summer holiday, who lived in a small village. One Saturday afternoon, my grandfather asked me climb a nearby mountain with him. At first, I ran fast, leaving my grandfather behind. However, about twenty minute later, I felt so tired that I stopped run and eventually chose to sit down for a rest. Soon, my grandfather reached when I was. He looked for me and asked, “Have I noticed the beautiful flowers along the way?" I kept silently. My grandfather smiled, "My dear, you are not in a race and on a journey.” After that, my grandfather and I had walked slowly, appreciating the scenery and laughing along the way.

I will be 18 years old, and the person I want to express my deepest gratitude is my dad, a construction site worker. In order to support the whole family, she always works very hard, and never feels discouraging. In a sense, my dad tells me indirectly to be the optimistic person. In other words, he has taught me to enjoy what life has been offered to us instead of complain about it. In addition, no matter whenever I encounter unpleasant things, he always comforts me patient. He often helps me find a few useful solution. Because of my dad, I have become a loving person that I was now.

The Moments section of WeChat has become the popular part of the social networking platform. We can share everything about your life on it with our friend. Many teenagers, however, chose to keep their parents out their Moments. They argue that if their parents get involved, and they will feel upset. As far as I am concerning, I feel happily when my parents comment on my posts in my Moments. It shows their love and care for me. What’s more, shut them off may make the generation gap bigger and bigger, while inviting them in would helping us communicate better and feel closer to each other than before.

Last year, when I was trying to decide if to study overseas,I talked to my friend. This was the better thing I could have done. This was a big decision for me because I had ever been overseas on my own and I was not sure if I could do it. She had studied overseas previous year. She told me about the challenges and opportunity I might come across and help me make the right decision. I went and it was amazed.
Whenever I face with an important decision, I seek advice from another. In this way, I am well-informed but have the benefit of their ideas and experiences.

My senior high school life is almost over. Although looked forward to entering college, I can’t help missing those good old days very much that I feel sad. I’m unwilling to say goodbye to everyone and everything I am familiar. However, I come to realize nature never stood still. Different seasons come and go. Plants and animals die and new one come to life. We, like everything in nature, has to adapt to the changes. Before knowing it, I am a kind of calm. Now I’d like to recall the most wonderful things what have happened, and accept happy whatever is to happen.

Dear Peter,
I'm so glad to hear from you and know about how you are doing these days. I'm writing to tell you how our schooling are now going on. Actually we are having e-learning at home, learn in the "classroom in the air" all the academic and non-academic subject. The holiday schedule runs from 8 : 00 am till 4 : 30 pm on work day, with more and long breaks for rest than usual. Personally I've got used for learning online, which I think it is a creative form of schooling and also our own way to resist COVID-19 epidemic, but I real miss the days with friends and teachers on campus. That's why I pray for the end of the epidemic every day, but believe it will soon come to end.
Best wishes!
Yours,
Li Ming
