All of us need friendship. The understanding between two friends mean both of them have similar ideas and trusting each other. Otherwise, it is impossible for him to help each other and to make their friendship to last long. As an old saying goes,“A friend in need is a friend indeed.” So really friendship should able to stand all sorts of tests. And it is wise to have as many good friends that we can. The more friends we have, the more we can learn for one another, but the more pleasure we can share together.

Dear Jack,
How is everything going? I am very glad to learn that you are coming to China this summer. It's not necessary to worry your Chinese. I'd like to share my ideas, it might help.
First, be brave enough to speak Chinese when you communicate with others. It's of great important to be confident of you. We Chinese are very friendly so you needn't be afraid of making any mistakes. Second, it's better to speak slowly and clearly. Only by this way can you make yourself understand more easily. What's more, sometimes I can use drawings or pictures. Like you know, body language was also widely used across cultures and very often it really works.
May you will have a good time in China.
Best wishes!

Dear Tom,
I'm glad to hear that you are considering make up with Peter. If I am you, I would consider a bike as a birthday present for him.
As far as I know, Peter is always in poor health, so he should take more exercises by riding a bike to have his body build up. In the meanwhile, you can often go out by bike together, which is helpful on rebuilding your friendship. Besides, taking a bike is environmentally-friendly means of transport. It's convenient to get around as well. Apart from giving him a gift, and you can also adopt other means, such as traveling, seeing a movie, having dinner and going shopping. No matter how you do, being sincere was the most important. Don't hesitate, and try to take action. I really hope that we can make up and be good friends forever.
Yours,
Li Hua

After hearing a knock on the door, I opened it. But to my surprise, somebody was there. “Look!” my little daughter, Micah, said happy, “There’re some flowers.” “Happy May Day!” said the card, signing by the girls next door. I remembered of my grandma who used to celebrate the holiday by giving some backyard flowers to many of her neighbors and friend. Then, Micah and I headed out to our yard but picked up some roses. We took some to the girls next door, and then drove to the hospital that my grandma stayed. At Grandma’s sickroom, Micah hands a rose to my Grandma. Then we gave rest of the roses to other patients there. They felt very gratefully for our kind action.
