Transport yourself back 3, 300 years, across the sands of the Sahara Desert where you reach the heartbeat of Ancient Egypt ruled by the most celebrated pharaoh in the country's storied history. Experience one of the greatest collections of its kind in this Australian-first exhibition, Ramses & the Gold of the Pharaohs.

This all-new multisensory museum experience provides visitors with a window into the life and achievements of Ramses II, more commonly known as Ramses the Great, who ruled Egypt for 67 years. The exhibition features 182 priceless artifacts including the sarcophagus of Ramses II-one of the most impressive royal coffins(棺椁)from Ancient Egypt ever to be discovered—and other treasures, some of which have never left Egypt before.

This journey will enable visitors to discover a surprisingly preserved collection of artifacts, including fine jewellery, delicate royal masks(面具), and golden treasures of the tomb, showcasing the superb workmanship of Egyptian artists.

The exhibition also features a virtual reality experience that takes you on a tour of two of Ramses' most impressive remains: the Temples of Abu Simbel and the Tomb of Queen Nefertari. In cinematic motion chairs, viewers will fly through temples, sandstorms, and even come face-to-face with Ramses in this virtual journey. From June 22, 2023 to August 9, 2023, all admissions (招生) information sessions and tours will start at Sanders Theater in Memorial Hall, 45 Quincy Street, Cambridge, MA. The schedule will feature only one information session per day at 10:00 am, followed by a tour at 11:00 am, from Monday through Saturday. Information sessions and tours will not be offered on June 27, 2023, July 3, 2023, July 4, 2023, August 7, 2023 or August 8, 2023.

From August 10, 2023 to August 21, 2023, all admissions information sessions and tours will start at Agassiz House, 5 James Street, Cambridge, MA. The schedule will feature information sessions each weekday at 10 am and 2 pm, followed by tours of the campus at 11 am and 3 pm.

Registration (报名) is strongly recommended.

Admissions tours last about 75 minutes and focus on undergraduate (本科生) life at Harvard. They are intended for students considering entrance to the College. For historical tours, visit the Harvard Information Center.

Get a comprehensive eye exam

Getting an eye exam is simple and painless--and it’s the single best thing you can do for your eye health! Even if your eyes feel healthy, you could have a problem and not know it. That’s because many eye diseases don’t have any symptoms or warning signs. An eye exam is the only way to check for many eye diseases early on when they re easier to treat.

Find out if you’re at risk for eye diseases

Getting older increases your risk of some eye diseases. You might also have a higher risk of some eye diseases if you are overweight or have a family history of eye diseases.

Other health conditions, like diabetes (糖尿病) or high blood pressure, can also increase your risk of some eye diseases. For example, people with diabetes are at risk for diabetic retinopathy-- an eye condition that can cause vision loss.

If you’re worried you might be at risk for some eye diseases, talk to your doctor. You may be able to take steps to lower your risk.

Take care of your health

Protecting your overall health can go a long way toward keeping your eyes healthy! It’s important to make healthy choices and take good care of yourself.

Keep in mind that healthy habits like eating well and being active can lower your risk of diseases and conditions that can lead to eye or vision problems, like diabetes or high blood pressure.
