How to maintain your privacy online?

Some of us like to keep some things private-maybe we don't want people to know about our relationship status, our age or where we live — because these details are personal.     1    .

On our social medial accounts, we often display things like our opinions, connections and holiday photos. The issue is, how do we stop everybody seeing everything? Maybe we don't want a random stranger to know our favorite type of coffee. And cookies — there was a time they were just something nice to eat.     2    . So how can you stay more private?

There are some steps you can take. First, on your social media accounts, check your privacy settings. Many social media platforms allow everything to be visible by default, and the responsibility is on you to set your boundaries.     3    . There are many sites out there that help you to share documents — so a good tip may be to not put anything too private, like passwords, on there. One errant click may send it to the wrong person.

Finally, cookies are designed to improve your browsing experience by tracking and saving information about your visits to a site, helping to personalize your sessions.     4    , but there are certain apps which can block them if you don't feel comfortable

So if you want to maintain your privacy online, maybe only share things you'd be happy with a stranger seeing — and if you don’t feel comfortable with cookies, you might decide to invest in some tech to block them.     5    , just don’t accept them and visit another site — and why not have a yummy cookie to eat instead?

A.If that’s not enough
B.It is very important to solve the problems
C.Deleting your browsing history may help
D.Now they seem to be popping up on websites
E.And limiting the amount you share isn’t only limited to social media
F.In other words, youd better not surf online in the public Internet bar
G.The problem is, everywhere we go online, we seem to leave a digital footprint

【推荐1】If you’re always comparing yourself to your peers, you might be low in confidence and unsure of yourself. Here are some tips on how to stop comparing yourself to others.

Write down your positive traits. When you ignore your abilities, it becomes easier to compare yourself to others. You might focus on their strengths and ignore your own completely.     1     By being aware of your best qualities, you can learn to love yourself and build up your self﹣confidence.

Keep a gratitude journal. A gratitude journal helps you recognize the things you may take for granted so you can fully appreciate them. To start journaling, reflect on the little things that bring you joy.     2     Explain how they influence your life in detail. For example, if you jog in the park every day, you might express how you’re grateful for your health and how jogging helps you overcome stress at work.

3     Instead of focusing on your “weaknesses”, reflect on the areas you can improve. Take advantage of all chances to improve your skills and techniques. Don’t be afraid to ask other people for help along the way. Only by making efforts to improve your abilities can you make yourself happy.

Compete against yourself.     4     Instead, use comparison to become an improved version of yourself. Set goals for yourself and try to improve your own personal best. When you set a goal for yourself, track your progress so that you can see how you are moving toward that goal. That way

Overcoming comparison is a continuous process, but it is possible!     5

Some Habits of Super Positive People

Life is full of positive experiences.Notice them. Notice the sun warming your skin, the small child learning to walk, and the smiling faces around you. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential by enjoying the beauty of these experiences, and letting them inspire you to be the most positive version (看法) of YOU.

Living a positive life is all about creating positive habits to help you focus on what truly matters. This is the secret of super positive people. Here are some simple ideas to help you follow in their footsteps.

    1

Life’s too wonderful to waste time with people who don’t treat you right. So surround yourself with people who make you happy and make you smile. People who help you up when you’re down. People who would never take advantage of you. People who genuinely care. They are the ones worth keeping in your life. Everyone else is just passing through.

    2

Your life isn’t perfect, but it does have perfect moments. Don’t let the little things get you down. You’ve got plenty of reasons to look up at the sky and say, “Thank you, I will do my best to make this a great day.” So slow down and pause for a moment to stand in awe of (敬畏) the fact that you are alive, and that you have the ability to rediscover life as the miracle it has always been.

    3

It doesn’t have to be January 1st to give yourself a chance to make good use of your life. Every day is a new day to learn, grow, develop your strengths, heal yourself from past regrets, and move forward. Every day gives you a chance to reinvent yourself, to adjust who you are, and build on the lessons you have learned. It is never too late to change things that are not working in your life. Using today wisely will always help you create a more positive tomorrow.

    4

It’s the most positive, stress-free way to live, because the truth always reveals itself eventually anyway. So don’t aim to be impressive, aim to be true. Those who are true are truly impressive. Being true means having integrity; and integrity is doing the right thing even when you know nobody is watching.

    5

Today, give someone one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine they see all day. Sometimes just a single genuine smile or praise can lift a person’s spirits to new heights. At the right time, a kind word from a stranger, or unexpected encouragement from a friend, can make all the difference in the world. Kindness is free, but it’s priceless. And as you know, what goes around comes around.

A.Help the people around you smile.
B.Appreciate life’s perfect moments.
C.Become addicted to constant self-improvement.
D.Celebrate your existence.
E.Live and breathe the truth.
F.Spend time with positive people.
G.Help the people around you cry

【推荐3】A book review is a description of what you thought of a book. Sharing it with others can help them decide whether they might want to read the book too.     1
