October 28, 2017 is an unforgettable day for I took part in the Jingzhou International Marathon! It was the first time that Jingzhou had hosted such international sports event and there were nearly 10,000 runners joined in it. That morning, at the moment I reached the starting place—Guan Gong Yiyuan, I found it crowded with a sea of people, exciting and cheerful. It surprised me most was a 70-year-old runner beside me, which had gone in for 92 competitions after his retirement! Hearing the sound of the starting gun, I dashed out like an arrow. But with the race going on, I felt my legs as heavily as blocks of stone. I was about to give up while the old man cheered me up. Because I was very tired, with his encouragement, I finished my first mini Marathon.

Today, my friends or I went on our trip to People’s Park, that we had a good time. We arrived at park later because of the traffic jam. Last Saturday, our class had an excited basketball match with our neighbor Class 4. I had thought that our team was consisted of strong and able players, me including, while the opposite team was no match for us.
