As a teaching assistant at a university, I found some learning tips.    1         

You should study two to three hours outside of your class per week. I can tell you that spending an hour of self-studying for every credit hour will put you ahead of a lot of your classmates. Studying for long hours will often be necessary when you have an exam.    2    . Psychologists say a healthy amount of sleep will help you remember what you have learned!

My best students are the ones who find time to complete parts of the homework well before it’s due. Topper students are not ahead of intelligence of mental skill.    3     They manage time so well that they won’t feel guilty after exams when they think they could have done better.

Prepare summary notes in advance. They should mainly cover all important definitions(定义), points or flowcharts which are more likely to come in exams.

This might look opposite of what you have heard till now. However, studying for more hours are less effective than studying for less time along with enough breaks in between.

They make you less productive and lazy.     5    It will keep you stick to its website and keep showing you funny videos, pictures and music.

Reyes Guana, 42, grew up in a poor Mexican family. He has seven brothers and sisters. His parents always had two jobs to make ends meet.

As a boy, Guana had a good relationship with the school cleaner. He called her "Nike" because she wore Nike shoes. The boy liked how Nike made everything clean. He told her he wanted to be a cleaner, too. "Well, it's good if you want to be a cleaner," Nike told little Guana. "But make sure you go to college."

Guana also looked up to the principal of his school. The school leader told the boy that his job was to help students and teachers. "Wow, when I grow up, I want to do what you're doing," Guana told him. "Well, if you stick to your dream, you will," the principal replied.

And Guana really got there. But it was quite a long journey for him. Twenty-three years ago, he followed in Nike's footsteps and was cleaning schools. He worked at three schools to pay for his college education. He held that job for four years and then worked his way up to being a school safety monitor. After that, he worked as a teacher for a few years.

Now, as a principal, Guana never forgets where he came from. He helps students from poor families and shows respect for every school staff member. He always invites everyone to school parties, including those who clean the floors and those who drive the school buses.

It’s a fact that as you get older, it becomes harder to make friends. It’s a natural progression, whether you work in an office or a remote area. As you get older and leave school, you often have more demands for your time and fewer opportunities to get to know those around you.

“Maintaining friendships takes effort, but it’s well worth it,” says CEO and Fast Company contributor Corey Weiner. “Studies show that a friend can make you a better collaborator (合作者), a more creative and productive worker and generally happier with your job.”

You’re not going to immediately bond with all of your coworkers or every person you meet at a networking happy hour. But making continual attempts to find connections with your non-annoying colleagues will eventually pay off. Last but not least, don’t call them work husband or work wife in the beginning.

This type of aircraft is known as an eVTOL, which stands for Electric Vertical Take-off and Landing. One expert told BBC that while there are many varieties of eVTOL in development,Cora was an interesting model.

“Vertical take-off and then changing to winged-flight is quite a feat of engineering,” said Steve Wright, associate professor in aerospace engineering at the University of the West of England. He said,“We have been doing it for a long time but that doesn’t stop it being hard. Doing it with batteries is even more impressive. ”

Steve said, “The present battery tech holds back the innovation. For 150 years engineers have been spoiled (溺爱) by petrol and oil, because they stuff a huge amount of energy into a small space. But everyone would dearly love a new battery that could store 10 or 15 times as much charge. ”However, the passenger drone(无人)concept has so far proved difficult to get off the ground in practice. A test flight at the tech fair CES of a people-carrying drone. by SureFly was cancelled due to light rain in January. Dubai hasn’t introduced the self-flying taxi service yet, though it initially said it would start in July 2017.

【推荐2】Stephanie Duno is many things: a straight-A student, an animal lover, and a loving sister. But she is also one of the many victims（受害者） of bullying（欺凌）. Instead of keeping the pain inside, she turned it around and is changing her neighbourhood in Florida with her non-progit（非营利的） anti-bullying programme, Pawssible.

As she came from Venezuela, Duno had to deal with people making fun of her accent（口音）from a young age. Later on, her little brother was also bullied because of his shyness. She realised that she had to take a stand.

“You need to tell someone if you are being bullied and know that you’re not alone. There are so many people that you talk to. It will stop if you contact someone. No one deserves to be bullied,” said Duno.

When she was working part-time at a veterinary clinic（兽医诊所）, Duno realised helping animals in need made her feel better about herself. She decided to put her love of animals together with her desire to stop bullying by creating a non-profit organization, Pawssible. In the organisation, victims of bullying can help nurse animals back to health.

With all her hard work, it is no surprise that she has been rewarded. Duno is one of the ten people who have received a national anti-bullying scholarship award. But in Duno’s eyes the true reward is not the award.

“I love helping people. I love seeing their faces and knowing that I’m the one to make them happy. It’s a really rewarding feeling. Everyone deserves love and that is what I want these kids to leave with,” she said.
