This morning, I flew a kite with Mary in the Peoples Park. We were sure to have much fun so we got a nice kite and it was a lovely day.
I began to fly kite. Once it went up into the sky, I began to run very fastly, and hoped it would go higher and higher. Then suddenly I felt anything wrong. Looked up into the sky, I was disappointed to find the kite got broken. At no time the broken kite and ropes fell over me. What a fool! I sat on the grass, feeling rather ashamed of what I had done it.
Then Mary comforts me, saying, “Now, you know that makes a kite fly high. It’s patience and skills.”

One Sunday morning we go fishing at a lake. We took ours fishing poles and headed for the lake. As soon as we arrived, so we dropped the lines into the water. Before waiting for about half an hour, I was beginning to get impatiently. I wanted to give up, and my grandfather told me to wait a little longer. Finally, there were a sudden pull at the pole and fish was caught. Within the next few minute, my grandfather also caught a fish.
Felt hungry, we built a fire by the lake and barbecued the fish. It was delicious.

Last summer, my family took short trip to the countryside. After drive for two hours, we arrived at a mountain lake. The scenery is breathtaking. We hiked, picnicked or swam in the lake. At night, we roasted beef in the starlight. The next day they visited a village, ate at a farmhouse and picking fruits. Though short, it was relaxed. I enjoyed nature and being with family. Traveling and trying some new thing make family trips meaningfully and unforgettable. How I look forward to one more such trip in the near future again!

What a wonderful day for skating! My friends and I went skating on yesterday.When we arrived, we found a lot of people were already here. My friend was very poor at skating but was afraid of skating alone. He held onto my arm and walks slowly and carefully. Whenever someone passed by, his body rocked violent as if he was about fall. I took hold of him many times so as he wouldn’t fall. He kept trying and gradually should skate alone. Then we skated together freely, laugh with joy and excitement. We felt so great!
